Actually most historically accurate victorian ballgowns had many buttons and clasps to hold everything in place so I'm extra pleased with this dress

Is it difficult to stop twirling in this dress because I would never stop twirling. This is so glorious and ugh, the movement in those layers! I am literally sitting with my hands clasped with a big ol' smile and actual heart eyes. It is exquisite. You should feel so proud! It's incredible.

I think this dress is actually more beautiful than the movie version, because I know it’s real, it’s a real dress with no stage shortcuts or cinematic touch ups. I’ve watched every video in this series as it’s come out and I am in total awe of you.
The efforts and Dreams put into the dress makes it much more beautiful in some ways
my thoughts as well.
Pretty sure part of the appeal of recreating this dress was because it wasn't made with a ton of short cuts for the film either. Bella talked a lot about figuring out what tools/fabric/patterns and whatnot to use based on what the real dress would have used in order to do what it did/based on interviews!
I've seen the one from the movie in person. There were few to no touchups. It really is that ethereal and stunning up close.
I saw it too. It looks exactly the same. It's a real dress...it's not cgi, lol
Bella's obsession with this dress has paid off. The more she makes it the more beautiful it is. I have seen all the versions and I hope that it is already the last version, because I expect much more period dresses from her.
I see how the hooks really kept everything in place. That is a stunning achievement! 1000 yards of ruffles……..it is a perfect ball gown. Thank you for sharing this project with us.
I wish people had the courage and good taste to actually show up attired this beautifully at public events like dinners and the theater / symphony and so forth.

Ahhhh! This looks AMAZING! I can't believe you actually got the same hypnotic movement in the skirt that the original had. I seriously thought the movie might have been using CGI to get some of that effect. Also, the amount of engineering that went to this dress is genuinely impressive.
Haha, no CGI here! It really is neat to be able to do and move like what it looks like in the movie!

This is by far the most beautiful version of the Cinderella gown, that I have seen on CZcams. One of the things I always notice when people are making gowns are how well they are fitted. And this is just wonderful. Beautiful work:)

The finished look is stunning. And all the clasps are genius. I hope you're immensely proud of the work you put into this, it really shows. I started giggling uncontrollably once you got the petticoats on, it's that good.
I'm glad it's just for you. I don't know how you could ever sell it. All the materials, the hours of physical labor and brain power you put into it, plus the love, care, and completely custom to you fit make it literally priceless in my opinion.
My thoughts, too! I'd save it as an heirloom or something. Definitely a treasured gown to wear every now and again, and a precious reminder of how far her skills have come.

I remember, when the Cinderella movie came out, how mesmerised I was watching this beautiful work of art on screen. It was so hard to find informations about it at the time, let alone replicas. I think it was during the summer of 2016 when I found you on Etsy and Instagram ; you were twirling in these enormous petticoats, in a garden, and I thought "Alright ! Something incredible is happening in this lady’s atelier.” (I was so happy to see you comment under my replica, it was something about the first layer of the dress - the silk crepeline.) After a couple of years, you started uploading your Nutcracker Series and little by little, we could see more of your wonderful creations and thoughtful research - and overall great personality. It’s amazing to have creators like you on CZcams. Watching you create this gorgeous Cinderella gown was a fantastic experience (which my mother shared too, though neither of us are native English speaker - hence my terrible grammar.)
This movie came out when I really needed to be remembered that the world can be a beautiful place and I cherish everything about it. Though it might be strange to word it like that, it changed my life in many ways. Thank you so much for sharing this adventure with us. It truly means the world and you look absolutely beautiful in your gown. A true Cinderella - or should I say Cinderbella. And your very own Fairy Godmother !

Watching this video again after watching all of your explanations and all of the work that went into it, I am even more amazed and even more impressed by how incredible this dress is! It came out so beautifully, you really nailed the floaty watercolor effects, and the way it flows and moves is amazing!! Wow!
