I am here because of Kafka on the shore
Je suis là pour ça😉
I come here after reading Kafka on the Shore. Can't deny that Hoshino and that cafe owner have great taste, I totally love it!
Even though hoshino have no clue about classical music, he still have the competence to enjoy it

It feels nice to read the comments and find so many people who were sent here from the same source as I was. It's a warm, communal feeling, like meeting friends you never knew you had.
Haruki Murakami's taste in music is pretty cool, tbh. Prince, The Beatles, and Classical Music.
The depth and "the persistent inward moving spirit that's filled with a pliant, youthful sort of curiosity."
He doesn't actually like the Beatles that much. He just had to listen to it, because it was all over the radio when he was in school.
He actually quoted that for Hayden, when he was compared to Bach and Mozart
I owe this to Murakami, always a pleasure to follow his good music taste
Came here while reading Kafka on the Shore. Wonderful piece. Thank you to Hoshino and the cafe owner. No wonder they enthused about it.
I now have a great deal of respect for the cafe owner. Mr Hoshino and the retired official brought me here!
One of the treasures of my discotheque.
I finlly figured out why Rubinstein has such a great reputation. He's a complete master of counterpoint, making every voice sing and crescendo/decrescendo independently. The trio is like a concerto for violin and cello with Rubinstein as the orchestra! I guess I never noticed that before because he usually plays Chopin, who's not very contrapuntal, or else concertos where the orchestra plays the role of the orchestra and he's free to be a soloist.
The combination of these 3 musicians is exceptional. Especially Heifetz and Feuermann, whose sonority and nuances match perfectly
such a beautiful sound. The golden sound of the golden age. I have a friend who has all the greats of this era on the original 78s. I started my life listening to all these and the opera greats.
Recorded September 12, 13, 1941. Eight months later (May 25, 1942), Feuermann died, due to complications during surgery. He was 39 years old.
Thank you for posting the best performance of the greatest piano trio ever written!
If you ever need classical music to listen to, go no further than a Murakami novel. Each one I read inevitably ends with me tracking down a piece of music I'm unfamiliar with. It's a pleasant bonus.
Si pe mine m-a adus Murakami aici!
🎉
Perfect to enjoy a cup of coffee to and contemplate on life.
It's so nice to see all of your comments, you who enjoy this book as much as I do :)
I miss nakata
I hope he can read again and can go to the library
Maybe my favorite Murakami character.
Nakata. 🤗❤️
old man was the best
make it rain fish again!
Thanks mr hoshino to share this beauty with us ❤
This world is a very small place.
At least now I now.....there are people around the world ...who think same. Great to see you here.
Hoshino had great taste
The great Bernard Haitink who died this week said"When I hear the slow movement of the Archduke Trio..... my heart opens. I hope that never leaves me" We have lost one of the greats. RIP.
Maravilhoso! Obrigada Murakami..
Sempre me arrepio quando venho a buscar referências deixadas por Murakami, e me deparo com outros viajantes.
Murakami é um gênio
Great music to broaden perspective and think about life😊😊✨Thank you Murakami san!
For those who may be interested in a different, slower but more melodic take on this wonderful music, check out the Kempff-Rostropovich-Menuhin 1974 Paris performance, also available on CZcams.
I'm reading Kafka on the shore that's why I'm here to listening as Hoshino "archiduke Trio".
Pozdrawiam wszystkich którzy podążyli i podążają tą intrygującą ścieżką
I always look up the music Murikami talks about in his books. It feels more immersive
Gracias Murakami
thanks mr Hoshino

Muito bom! Obrigado Murakami!! 🙂
Listening with the great Hoshino. "Kafka on the shore" by Murakami. 😄
Stupendo. Tocca gli accordi della nostra sensibilità. Grazie a Hoshimo e Murakami per avermelo fatto scoprire
Semplicemente fantastico, tocca tutti gli accordi emotivi...Grazie
@pwong702 Thank you for allowing us to listen to it. I was inspired by Kafka on the shore as most people here... but thank you.. for the effort to share it.
The cafe owner had a great taste
I'm here because of Mr. Hoshino and The Coffee Shop's owner!
Here for hoshino!
Bravo "Million Dollar Trio"! Hoshino was right, it is the best performance.
mil gracias
Hoshino!!🤩🤩
I'm listening to the music and I am thinking of the feeling that Hoshino felt when he heard it.... Kafka on the shore
it was in my dream and i'm with hoshino when i woke up i search it right away
Million Dollar Trio: Haruki Murakami, Kafka am Strand
Grazie Murakami.....seguendo il tuo racconto imparo tanto 😀
Merci~*
Gracias a Hoshino, estoy aquí... Y no me arrepiento.
13:35 is so moody and right.
This reminds me of the Bach Busoni Chaconne, that one is a bit more dramatic but the feeling is similar, like longing for something you don't remember. I recommend Helene Grimaud's interpretation.
The retired Education minister and current cafe owner sent me here.
Sto leggendo Kafka sulla spiaggia …mentre ascolto Million Dollar Triò 🎶 🎻🎹🎼

who am i?
Beni de...teşekkürler hoshino
Hoshino, truck driver, is guilty 😅
I like coffee shop songs. They are far better than this one.
Actually simply too fast, prefer Rubinsteins later records regarding chamber music
Hmmm...
I just found this while reading about Hoshino talking to poor dead Nakata 🥲
