    Still a very informative and useful review in 2021. I especially appreciate your demo in the forest and that you mention that you do not have to always scan for road irregularities. Danke shön!

    I also have a Ranger X2 and this is a very good review. It's great on sidewalks, which are normally awful to ride on with regular longboard wheels. But after seeing your review I might need to take it on some seated go-kart rides through the woods! You got some really good camera angles - nice job!

    Awesome! A comprehensive review, and good job there with your 3D printed fender.

    Hey dude, great review of this board! It's exactly what I was looking for. I want to say first of all that your narration has a certain Rick Steves quality to it; it's pretty cool when applied to an extreme sport like this. I was wondering, I have about 2,300 miles under my belt riding a Onewheel and I was wondering if you have any Onewheel experience if you could compare this to a Onewheel because I'm looking to try something different. Seems very interesting to me to be on four wheels as opposed to one.

    Any comparison between the airless wheels and pneumatic wheels on say the Evolve AT?

    • @longboardracingleague9712
      @longboardracingleague9712  Před 3 lety

      Sorry, I haven't ridden a board with pneumatic tires. They probably ride a bit better, but these don't need as much maintenance.

    I just received my Ranger, but the weather has been awful. Really like your 3D wheel covers. Might you consider making the specs available when you have a second generation?

    How much do you weigh? Trying to see how much that affects your range.

    How long would it take for a complete newbie with no skate experience to get used to riding this board?

    • @longboardracingleague9712
      @longboardracingleague9712  Před 4 lety +3

      As quick as you would with any other electric longboard. The controls are intuitive and easy to use, especially in eco mode when you're starting out. I think learning to ride an electric board is easier than with a normal longboard actually. You keep both your feet planted on the board at the same time and can control your speed well. It takes practice either way. Ride carefully and have fun!

    Hello,
    Congratulations on this video.
    These mudguards on the front of the ranger are great, I love it !!!
    Do you have the dimensions for the print, because I would really like to make some for my board!

    I love your review!You did a very good job,i will follow your channel :-).Would you reccomend it for daily commutes of 11 km single distance?I live in Belgium so the roads are not the best quality :-D.

    • @longboardracingleague9712
      @longboardracingleague9712  Před 4 lety

      11 km you should be able to do no problem. If your route is fairly flat you could probably do the round trip too. But I'd take your charge with to the office just in case.

    Great review how do you find the speed? As I’m stuck between this and the g3 and concerned it’s not going to be quick enough! Thanks

    • @longboardracingleague9712
      @longboardracingleague9712  Před 4 lety +1

      The board is stable enough that I could handle a little bit higher top speed, but I'm content with the speed. 35 kmh/22 mph is plenty fast. As the battery is discharged, it's a bit lower. But I am pleased with the compromise - it's not a topspeed record-setter. But it'll ride over everything quickly and comfortably. The G3 is a much different board. If you've got a lot of smooth roads and paths to ride it, then the bit higher top speed might be worth it for you. But I prefer the comfort and stability this board offers.

      Genau. Man muss aufpassen. Leider kann ich nicht durch die Innenstadt mit dem fahren. Im Winter war ich in der Stadt angehalten, aber die wussten nicht was für eine Straffe das bedeutet. Ich musste einfach zu Fuß weggehen.
