Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

When I bought my house there was an old swingset, concreted into the ground. Rather than fight that, I found a lovely porch swing to hang from it. I can picture the 2 of you sitting there surveying your lovely land.
This looks amazing!
Although I'm definitely wishing, waiting, and wanting to see the day the driveway gets pressure washed and sealed. I just have ocd to pay me any attention.🤣😂
Bee, get Theo ton put up a large mailbox on a post by your garden. I use mine to keep my gloves, bug spray, clippers, etc.
I like that idea.
Great idea!
Don't let that wisteria take over - it's massively invasive. Beautiful job, both of you. What a satisfying day.
remember for the veggie garden, it needs 6 hours of sun on it and under those trees doesn't seem to offer enough sunlight
It should have plenty of sunlight, the shade will do a better job of protecting the plants. Portugal, Spain both have very intensive sunlight.
Theo is just having waaaaayyyyy too much fun with all his big toys 😄.
Your property truly is “heaven on earth”……. 💜
Aren't trees AMAZING!!! I can't believe how many have recovered and come back to life since the fire and flood...keep up the great work guys.xx
Hi Bee, the plant that looks like a Jasmin with long vines going up into the trees, actually seems like a beautiful Wisteria!
Yes, wisteria. Just got back from walking Camino from Portugal to Spain. Wisteria in bloom everywhere! So beautiful! 💕
Hi, Bea and Theo. You did a great job of pruning the trees, Theo. It makes such a difference.❤️❤️
Bea I hope you are continuing to heal well.
Man, you guys never seem to fet tired. Huge amount of work, very nice results.
It is great to see the area in front of your home transformed. We look forward to seeing all your progress. You both work really hard. Well done :)
Lol, Bea, double your pleasure, double the fun with 2 Beas hard at work!
That vine looks like a wisteria to me 🐝 just from looking at the leaves :)
YOUR HOMESTEAD JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER. LOTS OF HARD WORK, BUT YOU GUYS ARE UP FOR THE CHALLENGE. CONGRATULATIONS
Again, how that fire was that close and spared the house is truly a miracle. GOD is good, ALL the time. 😊❤
The musical accompaniment is masterful. And yes Theo in chaps is um well yes enough said. Looks so great. Bea I just love that hair cut. Glad your keeping it. So cute.
Took my eyes off the screen for a couple of minutes but was listening and noticed - Bea, you sound very happy. Spring is a wonderful time for rejuvenation - not just nature but also our minds and spirit. Happy for you both!
Really fun editing today with the music and chain-sawing, chipping and strimming. 😂💗
I gasped when Theo lifted up that vase! What a beautiful treasure! Wow!
How wonderful to have all of the various types of machinery to help you with all the work you are doing. Theo looks like he always enjoys operating everything. 😂
You two are the epitome of “teamwork
makes the dream work”. 💗
I’m excited to see the garden develop - the area looks so lovely already! Fun video!
Looking good! Bea suggestion: you may want to reuse frame of swing set for mini "greenhouse"/protection over bed in garden.
Or to do some vertical gardening supports. Beans, tomatoes, cucumbers or hanging flower pots! So much fun and options!😊
Looked like a wisteria vine. Also when using green wood. You must cure the chips. Sun and water them for a 3 weeks. Every 4 days water them and turn them over so the chips get sun. The sap in the chips will kill your plants. A thin layer as a topper to keep moisture in is fine with out curing for established plants . But it you want to use around young seedlings not good, use straw till they get established. My parents owned plant nurseries for decades.
Hi Bee and Theo, I haven't been watching for a long time as I was busy preparing and moving to Portugal. ( also inspired by you) Now binge watching to see all the missed video's. Got suche a shock yesterday to find out what all happened with the new homestead and specially with you Bee! So glad you are " back" and smiling again. I hope the new house and forrest will also help you. Love you guys! ❤
Great job both. Theo, you're absolutely in your element doing all these jobs using the various vehicles, and variety of tools that you have. You Always do an amazing job on everything you tackle. Such a joy to see you both so happy 😊 ❤
The swing frame is perfect for stringing lines for beans and veggies to grow up onto. Simple A frame in the garden. ❤
WOW those big vases are beautiful. What a good find.💙💙
You two are the perfect custodian of the land. You both work so very hard. Love watching you bring this neglected damaged property back to life. Well done. Your fan in Ontario Canada.
That Jasmine looks like Wisteria which grows vines as well. Wisteria has beautiful blooms and is quite fragrent though. That was such a trip watching two Beas working side by side. Wonderful Cinamphotagraphy guys my how you've grown over the last few years !! Great job ALL the way around 👏 OH and Theo lots of sunscreen up top my brother . No to skin Cancer !!! Peace and love ✌️
I just love your new property. It's looking so good, and y'all have so much room to do whatever y'all want to do. I know y'all are really enjoying the big house.
It is amazing how much you all get done on your property! That space has really changed! Hope your veggie garden does very well.
The frame from the swing would be great as a net support over your veg patch
Good to see both looking so well. Looks so much better with open views and light now Theo has cut down the lower branches. Keep up the great work you are doing. Take care.
Looks beautiful. Great place for your garden. Looking forward to seeing you get the garden done.
Seriously couldn’t express the joy I feel for you both. Never mind miracle mountain, more like garden of Eden. It’s the gift that just keeps on giving.x
Hello Bee and Theo, what a perfect spot for your veggie and herb garden. Just steps from the kitchen and daily maintenance chores. Sweet! ❤
Keep up the good work...love to see you two and the cats/sheep/chickens...
Thanks!
Theo was sawing his ash off. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
So awesome to see you bounced back financially and spirited from the fire. Miracle mountain is gorgeous ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Loving the Spanish music. My husband and I are dancing in our chaisr😂🎉
Y’all are doing a great job. Such an inspiration.
Fantastic! Love how it looks and that urn is absolutely the neatest. I use a tarp when I need to cut a lot of tree limbs or brush, weeds, etc. then I can drag it where I want it. Your mountain is really beginning to look amazing and I get as excited as you with your plans and can hardly wait to see them implemented. I love the Gingy and Fernando help too.
The swing set could make a really nice bean support with a bit of string lattice forming a nice quite shaded area below for some rest and relaxation from the hot summer season.
It looks sooooooo good....lots of effort, but, oh, so worth it! what an inviting corner.....come, sit awhile!!
Way to go!!! You both divided and concurred. Looks great now..
Yikes! That was a lot of work but it looks so much better! What a good place for a garden. 💜
You can use the frame of the swing set as a frame for your chicken coop!!!
The space looks so much better now and that looked like a very satisfying day. I forecast a garden lawn edger type of tool in your future, 😂. Please, we cant wait another week for the big reveal!
It’s so nice when your twin shows up to help 😉. Very big difference with the tree haircut. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦
He he loved Theo’s “Aliens” moment. Bucket raised….”where do you want it?”.
Thank you. Perfect Mother's Day gift for me this morning here in New Zealand 🇳🇿 😂🎉
Bea, Can I just say you look absolutely fantastic my lovely ❤
Your efforts truly paid off. It is absolutely beautiful now. May I make a suggestion? Next time you do chipping, have the chips blow into the backend of your side by side. I think it would be quicker and easier to move the pile. As big as your pile was, it may have taken 2-3 loads, but I think it still would have been easier for you. Great progress toward beautifying your gorgeous property.
Bravo 👏👏👏 That was a huge job all completed in one day! ❤🤗💪🙏🏻🙌🏼
Dramatic change I'd say, Theo without a baseball cap!
Your hard work really paid off.
The difference is amazing!
Fancy editing...2 Bees, 2 Theos!~ Fabulous!! What a transformation🙌🙌🙌 And a perfect spot for your kitchen garden🌈💛😄 Stay safe, be well and see ya next time👋👋
The urn shaped containers are awesome- I’ve gotten a couple a bit wider and shorter We built dirt up and laid them on their side with flowers spilling out - or a water fountain feature
You two are amazing
They are called Amphora (the pots) their origin is Greec and italy. Good job
Deus vos dê muita saúde 🙏 para poderem realizar todos os vossos sonhos 🙏
Beijinhos 😘 de Lisboa ❤❤
Portuguese greetings, whatever you found, it's called an earthenware amphora, it's one of the oldest containers for conserving and transporting liquids, namely olive oil or wine that the oldest people used, now serves as decoration.
You two,are such amazing workers. I am so exhausted after watching one of your videos that I have to grab a glass of vino🍷💕😊
Tie a chain to the swing posts and pull up with your tractor bucket. Another great video B & T ❤
The vines are Wisteria ... beautiful
Wonderful project! Congratulations on the clearing, it looks very nice~!
Nice job both of you the name of the game is transformation
Brilliant 🤗👍🤗👍🍰☕🍰☕🌹🌹🌹
Love Sue❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
Well done Theo and Bee you are such hard workers. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💙
So Theo has to now be a Tree Surgeon. I was having Coffee when suddenly there were two Bee’s, so funny 🤣 and to finish we had Sheriff Theo blowing all the bad leaves out of town. Laughed so much so bless you both for another amazing video. Great choice of music. See you soon Love ❤️ to you both. xxxx
You guys are a great team and very hard working
now that trees are recovering from the fires and so much trimming needed a scissor or a snorkel lift may be required for trimming work instead of standing in the back of the utv. enjoy your vids and keep them coving, its wonderful to see all of your hard work now paying off.
Bee and Theo, I’m so happy to see you both in such fine fettle that you can do the work of TWO people! The cleanup was a huge improvement to the area around the house and I look forward to seeing the vegetable garden that will be planted. I hope you will use the stone bathtub as the focal point for a flower garden❣️It’s wonderful that you have a water tap located so conveniently near the new garden area.
The clay vase you found is shaped very much like the type of ancient Mediterranean wine amphora that are often found during archaeological excavations. It’s going to make a lovely decorative accent to your home.
It makes me very happy seeing u both smiling
Love seeing you complete these project on the property!
I love how your using everything natural. Wood chips will be perfect in the garden. Can not wait to see your garden growing. This is exciting Bee. You guys made that whole area look bigger and very neat organized. Proud of you both. Being outside in the fresh air working sure does let you sleep good at nights. ❤
Great job ! Apart from getting more space, there is a more important reason. A forest that is not cleaned is an even greater hell when it burns. I think you have an unpleasant experience of this. Keep moving forward with your projects. You are incredible. I'm looking forward to seeing if they make the lake clean and natural water and can swim in it... Best regards
Bee and Theo ya look so much happier in your new place I'm so glad I don't comment at all wasn't sure if it's bae or bee I most say OMG what an awesome place ya have there
I would clean the vase and spray paint it some bright color around ur house with pretty bright purple and yellow flowers.
My first thought when you said Theo was getting his chaps on, was is his butt going to be hanging out too! LOL seriously though, you guys just seem to keep smashing through all the hard work you do! ❤
I used a swing set frame at my allotment. It makes a brilliant frame for runner beans and cucumbers. Just throw strong string attached to a piece of wood each side....
You did a great job our poor beautiful ash trees have all died from the ash borer
Have you sold your other property yet? It was such a beautiful place and I liked all the work you’d done on that old barn.
OBSESSED with those giant vessels. I’ve had recurring dreams my entire life of inheriting or stumbling upon different places that are filled with left behind treasures. It seems more common in Portugal for people to just lock up & leave everything behind when they move on?
Looking forward to seeing the veg garden taking shape especially as Bee has the best smiles when growing things 🥰
The swing set frame you could of use it as a framing for a small green house. Recycling at its finest.
My sister used her kids old swing set frame for that purpose and it works a treat. 21:07
I love the pot s, I live in a complex and have a tiny garden, I plant everything in pots , love hanging baskets as well. I love your videos!!
Yes, agree! Garden needs to be very close to the house. You need to see right away if it's needing water or if there's pests. Also good for a quick salad.
Pretty view of the house now the trees are trimmed back!
I look forward to your videos each week. I just love to hear your stories and share in your experiences. You two are hands-down, my favorite CZcamsrs. Thank you!!
Get rid of that vine! It’s wisteria I think( purple flowers?). It is incredibly invasive and will grow roots just underneath the soil and make it impossible to plant anything, or get rid of it! It will climb up and kill the tree by cutting off the sunlight! Good luck digging it up, and keep up the good work. Miracle mountain holds many more miracles for you and Theo.❤
Omgosh! What a difference, greatjob!
Hello you two workers, good job with the clearing, maybe not enough sun for your raised garden beds Bee, but then I don't know the sun direction, easy to water though, love those big pots, just a good scrub and they can sit either side of your verandah area, or wherever. Brilliant to find such treasures, am so pleased that your pleased, see you next time cheers!!
What an amazing transformation!
Oh my!! I love how you put your Tea and Theo clones to work!! 😂 Such wonderful proBress from her working team. can't express how glad my heart is to see and hear you both. 😘
Such a transformation. Looks brilliant
Saludos desde Chiapas, México. That made such as difference.
Great video. Who doesn’t love tree trimming, chainsawing, branch chipping, grass trimming and leaf blowing? I loved the fact that Bea got cloned and is working right along by her own side. I’m glad Theo put on his chaps and an ALL AUDIENCE approved undergarment as well. When I was a kid my folks moved us to a wooded area in Arkansas and we built a house. To clear the area for the house my mom started by tying plastic tapes around the trees my dad could cut. Finally my dad just said to make the trees you want to save and everything else was fair game. After that, if a branch could hit you in the head it was to low. Love the progress and the views. Take care of yourselves and thanks for sharing!
Hi Bee & Theo the property management is progressing amazingly…..projects galore! The wood chipper was the best purchase apart from essential chainsaws! Are you keeping the punching bag? Stay safe & healthy! Love from Australia ❤️🇦🇺🌞🤗 #Sustainability
OMW that was allot of work. You guys are like Duracell batteries! Take my hat off to you I'm exhausted just looking at you guys are fabulous.
How are you going to get all the weeds out of the paving? I hope you can spray it and don't have to scratch them all out !.
You have our dream of owning a property with some land, not as big as yours, but we are unable to do so but love watching you two progress with your dream such a joy to watch. Xxx
You have both lifted my spirits this morning, love seeing you both so happy and enjoying making your mountain a home... Cheers for sharing... love you both...
Great job with the trees. We going to buy some landscaping equipment this week. We love the Stihl brand you're using. Hope you guys are doing ok. Jim, Harriet and Yuki
Looks great. Old swings are brilliant for growing climber beans
You guys do amazing work, not only on the land, but with the editing as well.
Miracle Mountain is so lovely lush & thriving! I want to ride my bike along your pathways SO bad. We were inspired by you (& Eamon & Bec) to get UTV a couple years ago & it’s been a game changer, we love it so much! 1 of our 6 cats likes to ride around the property using us as a hop-on hop-off tram, lol.
