This is completely free opensource software. Here i am also using usb cable to cast android screen to pc with audio.

For those who do the whole process and the audio does not work, right click on the Audio icon at the bottom right (ON PC)> Open audio mixer -> go to the right and check if the VLC media player is ok.

Screen mirror is successful but also install that apk but when i try to open 2nd bat file for audio screen mirroring got end and show some time of error
Bro thank you! I have known about and used Scrcpy in the past but did not have an audio solution "or at least anymore since I got a new phone without a headphone jack"! Now I have sound again!!!
i like to watch videos on my phone while working and this does the trick, it is good for taking calls and a good way to listen something that is on your phone without the crummy phone speakers

If anyone is having problems with audio, make all the instalation, make sure to give the permissions and then install VLC, it has the codecs to capture the soud, It will work 100%. No root, nothing more

Thanks! It works! Awesome! There's some apps where sound doesn't work, hopefully there's a work around to it.
Those apps reject audio forwarding on purpose as a security measure, maybe someone will develop a way around that with root, but on a stock system it's not possible.

Tips: This was 1 Year Ago and I figured out this one, if you have the same problem with me like if you Hit Enter for audio and the prompt exited, just try Clicking the "UP Arrow" in your keyboard. BTW THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR TUTORIAL BUD! Now I CAN STREAM AND CONTINIOUS EDITING MY VIDS

There is a quick tips: If your phone have a 3.5mm headphone jack then you can use an extra cable to import any game sound like pubg or any. And use microphone with PC with a spliter.

friend i have try to audio to pc , all setup is working but sndcpy is not set (app is installed and permission is given) because i have press enter key then cmd is closed and no audio transfer

Just the solution i needed i was planning on useing it on a raspberry pi 2 rather than a pc but since it doesn't has wifi bluetooth or an audio in i was just ready to give up but u saved me 😂 but it will be inconvenient if the app for audio only work on android 10 since i plan to use a android 6 device
every time I click the sndcpy batch files in my PC the app the I installed in my phone automatically uninstall

just a simple rundown for complete beginners,
it will only work for android 10 or higher
first install ADB (android debug bridge)
then install VLC on ur pc
if you do all hte steps correctly u'll get one audio stream in ur device and one audio stream in ur PC
contrary to what the youtuber says there will be lag on both the video and the audio (video lag around 30ms and audio lag around 50)
if u are planning on streaming using this technique then add stream/render delay in obs

@@dusttaker6264 sry i didn't get notified about ur reply, yt is weird. The best way to stream is using a laptop/pc in addition to ur phone. Use an HDMI encoder(turns hdmi to usb) + hdmi cable + USB C to HDMI. Or use *scrcpy* instead of all this but ur PC should have a graphic card for this.

sndcpy requires android 10, is there any other app that requires a lower versions of android like android 7 below?

For some reason, only CZcams is casting audio to my PC but other apps like games and Spotify are silent. I have my VLC at max volume and have both scrcpy and sndcpy open.

it is saying there was a problem while praising the package when i am installing sndcpy in my phone
Everything is working for me except the audio. When I open sndcpy.bat, click "start capture" on my mobile device, and then press Enter in the cmd prompt, rather than saying "Playing audio...", the prompt immediately closes. Any idea what may be going wrong? Good tutorial overall, this is my only issue.
EDIT: Nevermind, I got it. I installed VLC from the website instead of the one included in the folder (didn't see it at first). Everything works great!

I'm using a galaxy tab s8 with android 13. scrcpy and sndcpy used to work in the past and I've used them to stream games. I think android 13 (or some other update) must've broken something becuase sndcpy doesn't work anymore. do you have an updated fix?

This method only work for devices with android 10 previous version doesnot support audio capturing. Phones with android 8 or 9 only support mirroring but they don't support audio streaming.
when im installing the apk in my phone its keep showing that "there was a problem parsing the package" what should i do?

Use a 3.5mm jack if you do not have audio. Or use a video card. Chinese have a card cost $10 i think. That works.
