Alright what's going on guys it's Trev back again here to bring you another video. In this one we will be taking a look at the fully completed Walking Dead Collection. Now that The Walking Dead Volume 32 Rest in Peace has been released, it is time for us to take a look at the entire Walking Dead Collection as a whole.
This video contains every volume and thus every issue of the walking dead comic book series run. It ran for over 15 years, and unfortunately ended this summer in 2019. I wanted to give my thoughts as we take a look through this epic series.

As much as I love AlphaBeta, Negan, Hunters and the Governor arcs...
My favorite volume is
"No Way Out"
It is a very good volume. : )
Volumes 8-14 were the peak for TWD comics. So many dark and twisted moments my highlight was "Fear the Hunters". It showed brutality and savagery from Ricks group taking things to a whole new level and really compelling storyline
On The Road was definitely my favorite arc
Everything that happened at the prison will always be my fav in the comic version.
I sorta proffered the 2nd half of the comics

its interasting how they can keep this show going on , the concept is what it makes that happen , we can have alot of new characters popping up , i hope this show doesnt end lol

he def seemed to step on the gas out of nowhere at the end. I think he was over it. But the ending was so satisfying that even if landing there was a bit of stumble, it landed on its feet.

They definitely didn't adapt March to War and All Out War correctly in the show.
They were stretched out way too far.
You can say that again. The 7th season should have had those two story story arcs that's it.
@@Alexs.2599 They really should have done that because of Chandler's aging. Plus we would have probably had Rick during the Whisperer Arc as it would have been season 8 instead of 9.
@@brianachim2670 Exactly, than we could have had a 2 to 3 maybe even 4 year time jump in season 8. If the Carl character had survived than Andrew may have had more motivation to stay in the show. Wow imagine seeing Rick and Carl in the Whisper arc.

I read the The Walking Dead series during when Season 5 came out and by the time it was Volume 14 No Way Out, that is the first time I read something before it was shown on the TV Show.
Last week I finally bought Volume 30, 31, and 32 the last ones I need to complete the series. And it’s great to look up onto my shelf and see my all time favorite storylines sit there.
Its great to finally have them all. I remember the day I bought Days Gone Bye I didn’t even know it was a comic I was just a major fan of the show. That day I was so happy to be reading it.
TWD has really impacted my life and what Kirkman did was amazing. It’s sad to see it end, but all things got to end at some point, and I think the ending was a great way to end the comics.

I’m sad that it’s over, but I think the ending was perfect and it felt like a natural ending 😁 also, damn it takes a lot of strength to lift all 32 volumes, I move mine 16 at a time because I can’t lift them all 😂

I love my hardback collection of The Walking Dead series. Been collecting them since early 2010. Kind of sad there will be no more and kind of glad as I was going off the series over the last year or so anyway.

In Brazil is about to end this Collection, and i am gettin it, it's so amazing because its another perspective of wiew actually the comics are bit different...

I also love how the zombies on each volumes cover lines up with eachother side by side
I would love to have all of these but at 15 bucks a piece they are extremely expensive for something you can read in a day. The big compendiums seem a better deal.

I finish it last night and I’m sad and there is a void in my life now but I think it’s a good ending
I've read a little of the comic, but I'm waiting on the show to end before I dive in to deep. I really do hate that the comic ended and Rick had to die. Oddly enough it feels like I've lost something, there's a empty space in me for sure.

This is sad that the walking dead graphic novels is over, but I still enjoy the graphic novels, but the only way I can read the graphic novels is my local library here in Newcastle indiana

weird number to finish on. I bought the compendiams thinking easier to store also i cant find half of what i own, the Volumes are way easier to hold.

Are there parts in the comics that were not adapted in the TV show? Excluding ofcourse the later whisperers stuff yet to be adapted.
Yes but it's mostly just different, the prison arc is a lot more brutal in the comics for example because of the differences but the hunters story arc is worse than the TV shows version, I recommend reading the comics to see the differences.
Chayce I strongly disagree with the Hunters arc being better in the show lol

Thanks for watching Zach, please subscribe. It is because originally every issue of TWD was done in black and white. It is only now with TWD Deluxe that they are doing them in color.

the final issue was decent, the lead up to it was shit

I really thing the show is doing a better job with the whisperer story arc than the comic did

what's the difference between these and the compendium books?
I think the volumes contain 12 issues and the compendiums contain all of them through out so that’s a difference
Volumes have 6 issues and compendiums have 48 and are cheaper, however you don't have the covers that you do on the volumes.
Do we know when the compendium drops?
I think it's like October or November

It wasn't the action, it was the shitty writing, dialogue and killing off Carl. The philosophical bullshit and annoying characters, and cliffhangers to make sure we watched the next episode. Season 8 was the worst season but I don't think it's because it was a war season, they didn't adapt the comic storyline properly, it seems so much more interesting in the comics
