Lateralus as a whole work of art is their Mona Lisa. Dude I always listen to a lot of Tool but lately I've been mainlining Tool reaction videos for like 2 weeks. Everytime I open CZcams I think "I wonder if there's another Tool reaction yet"? Lol
Early Tool was much more aggressive and had a lot more screaming than their later albums. They become more mellow and progressive with each new album.

Absolutely a scream. Great reaction. I think the most epic of all Maynard screams is pushit.

Danny Carey is and has been the drummer since day one. The only band change occurred in ‘95 when Justin Chancellor joined Tool as their full-time bassist. (He is had to move from the UK to US... he had been playing with them some before this.)

Taken in context this is quite a sad song, to be honest. The rawness and emotion comes from the anguish of a grudge between friends/family.
