As a fan of the comics. This was perfect. The fighting style. The misdirection.using the gadgets. The shadows. This was the Batman.

Ive made friends in a matter of minutes, it's possible
A lie meant to bring comfort.
That was the main problem with this movie, evident already from trailer 1 and trailer 2. That huge shift in setting. The first half was dark, and all about the psychology of its characters, specifically Batman. The second part we suddenly get jokes, a lighthearted Batman and Superman, and Wonder Woman and Doomsday kicking in for a bombastic crazy final fifteen minutes that were so different in tone from the first half that it's almost a different movie.
And it's a shame too. Take those scenes separately and they're great scenes. Amazing CGI on Doomsday especially. My jaw hit the floor when I first saw it, it just didn't belong in this movie.
It's still a good movie in my opinion, but tarnished compared to what it could have been. They should have taken their time.
Nothing makes friends better then beating the shit out each other
Now this...this is how you showcase Batman's fighting skills on screen. Very Arkham game ish too. Best live-action Batman fight scene yet. I never get bored of this fight scene no matter how many times I've watched this.
Yes agreed. The Arkham games style of fighting is how it should be done.
I feel like this scene was heavily influenced by the Arkham games forsure. Batman using miss direction and his toys to disrupt the goons guns. Also when he is fighting a few guys at a time the whole combo action from the game and the finishing punch on that last guy was very Arkham influenced im sure of it.
I hated the fight scenes in the nolan Batman trilogy. He looked like a brute that just punched everything. There was no finesse at all. Here you can clearly see the man who mastered over 100 styles of martial arts and would use his gadgets
Agreed this is way more enjoyable than the fight scenes in the dark knight
Bale Batman moves so slow and sluggish hell he rarely uses kicks
There are a few others equally as good:
1.The sewer fight scene in "The Dark Knight rises"
2. The final fight with the Joker in "The Dark Knight.
3. The actual fight between Batman and Superman.

Yeah sure they were....
1:44 i love how the thug aim for the head showing that they arent stupid
0:43 That punch would have killed the thug or maybe shattered whatever bone that's been hit. batman is so brutal in this movie and and we all loved it.
"I'm a friend of your son's . . . well, I almost just killed him, but l think we're cool now."
lol
As much as I love this movie, I always thought the same thing
I always saw it as Batman simply reassuring a scared woman.
MARTHAAA
yea you have the same name as my mother. So your son and I are like brothers now. lol
This is one of the best fight scenes in any comic book movie. Not only the action but the stakes. The fact that Batman cannot fail in saving Martha.
and for me this is not scene batman saves superman mother martha kent..but this is scene batman saves judge hershey because judge dredd very late.....
i like diane lane he play as the Judge hershey..the judge policewoman officer in judge dredd(1995)
judge hershey: thank you because save me.who are you??
batman : i am batman but my real name is bruce wayne..
judge hershey : where is dredd..why he not come??
batman : sorry dredd is dead in action...he was kill by luthor gangs
For real tho. He knows if he fails then his nightmares of Superman becoming an enemy to the world will come true.
I loved how reckless this Batman was. There is no point of leaving bad guys alive just for the sake of the hope that they will change one day.
Look at Snyder's style. How on earth did this man not get to direct a solo Batman movie??
There is only one truth: this is the best Batman fighting scene of all time.
This and the Deathstroke trailer for Batman Arkham Origins.
@@kertaspaper94 totally agree
@@rorschachd.wolfwood8139 @kertaspaper94
I heard that this film was pretty bad when it arrived to cinema. I never actually watched it. Would you guys recommend it?
@@internetwanderer9053 mmmm well, it had many good ideas but in the wrong way. So many things without a plan.
@@rorschachd.wolfwood8139 I see. I know that music is superb though, I learned to play on piano "Batman vs Superman - Beautiful lie" myself (this is the same score that is played in this clip).
"I'll kill her!"
He says it, but with fear in his eyes..
“I believe you” Batman says, without a trace of that fear...
MisterMasterMerc He said “I believe you”.
Vishu Yadav Fixed it, thanks bro 🤙
He's gonna be KG Beast in the future.
then murderfleck proceeds to kill him
We need more live action Batman scenes like this, minus the killing ofc
First off he killed people in the comics before. Both pre no kill rule and post. So needless to say Batman killing, controversial it may be to you so-called Puritans, is not a big deal to me because he wouldn't do it unless he had a damn good reason. And the fact that they're trying to kill Superman's mom, scratch that the fact that they're trying to kill somebody's parents in the first place would be a major good reason. The Batman in 1989 didn't start killing until he found out the Joker killed his parents. Most of the kills the Nolan Batman did were either based on time crunch moments or someone enraged him so badly that he would want to. He killed fake Ra's Al Ghul when he burned down the lair, he killed the real Ra's Al Ghul by not saving him from a train crash that he and Gordon orchestrated. He killed Two-Face because it was either him or Gordon's son. He was more than willing to kill Bane, because Bane made him that mad. And he also killed Talia al Ghul, because the bomb she was carrying was minutes away from nuking Gotham. Many of the animated Batmans were so tempted to break their rule too with only few succeeding. Batman came close to killing the joke after what he did to Tim Drake. Only for Drake himself to kill him. Terry McGinnis finished the job. Let's not forget the OG comic Batman killed Darkseid at the cost of his own life. So maybe before you guys start making a big deal about Batman killing or not, maybe take your time to research on whether or not he's done it before. Then you can move on and stop dwelling in your basements whining at people that don't care.
Essay but brutal
Him killing here was part of his character development. Notice how he saves harley and attempts to peacefully arrest Deadshot in suicide squad. BvS was his lowpoint and Superman’s sacrifice is what restored him
You can actually feel the power of Batman's punches through the screen.
bro hits like Francis Ngannou with quickness of Manny Pacquiao lmao.
2:21 - 2:26
Batman's rage towards that idiot thug is the equivalent to playing the Arkham Games, and there's that one idiot thug that hits you and breaks your 50+ combo streak while taking no damage... You take that sh*t personally...
😂😂😂
Lol so true, breaking the streak
Every. Damn. Time.
the whole choreography felt like the Arkham games. I love it!
It’s always the thugs with the knives that break the streak as well 😂
anyone here after the announcement of Zack Snyder's Justice League?
Can't believe it!
Yah its still going to suck, you can't make a god JL when its still sitting on the crap foundation of BVS. You'd have to redo both.
@@shadowbandit3975 but darkseid
@@shadowbandit3975 Finally someone who says the truth!
@@shadowbandit3975 no you're just bitter.
The dude that gets his head knocked INTO the floor… beautifully brutal.
Small detail at 2:43, that is a heavy duty machine gun with a tripod that's mean't to be put on the ground, and Batman here is holding it out with his left hand like its a pistol. That's how strong he is
Ben Afflecks Batman was incredible. I was concerned how he'd portray Batman after his Daredevil role, but i was impressed. And it was nice to see the very rare 4 on 1 scene where he activly fights 4 at a time instead of 1, with the other 3 standing there. Just overall amazing.
🦇
This was a stuntmen, not affleck.
@@zoriiginalx7544 well, duh. That's how it works. There aren't many actors who do their owm stunts. I'd say it's a rarity.
Affleck is the worst Batman
@@colbyreyburn6432 no. Clooney was the worst. Followed by Kilmer.
Batman unleashed. Some people also forget that this is Batman at his lowest. Jason's death (As hinted at with Robin's HAHAHA grafiitied armor) broke him, a death he could've prevented if he just broke his one rule to stop the threat he knew Joker is. That is his motivation and partial insanity in the mission to kill Superman, and anyone else who would, or in Superman's case, could, hurt others. He is stopping the threats once and for all like he knew he should've done with Joker. If you pity him for being so lost, you understand the character in this film.
not Jason, Dick grayon is the dead robin
@@psyo_nade3177 When did they say that??
Already happened in the comics and instead of him just being fine with killing people right after it he had multiple contemplations about whether killing the joker was right, we know things would likely be better if he killed criminals but he is afraid that it would send him down a dark path, he’s a man of justice and does not want to play judge jury and executioner all in one. It’s a positive character trait yet also a flaw, maybe if he had killed the joker Jason would have lived, but he didn’t, his pacifism is what keeps his sanity yet also destroys it. Batman does not kill as it would only continue the cycle of what happened to him. What makes his character interesting is the moral debate on whether his rule is better or worse for Gotham. If Batman were to kill he would be no better than any other vigilante and would not be considered a part of the law but instead one who opposes it.
@@mr.whisper3338 when bruce was walking in the field towards his parents tomb, no one could see it clearly, but one of the gravestone in that field was dick’s grave. and ye snyder confirmed it
Joker WAS Robin
Was not a fan of Batman v. Superman, but damn, this was the best scene of the entire film!
Man I gonna miss Ben he did that brute strength all the way
1:19 So Han was busy fighting batman
Getting beat tf up by batman *😂
I honestly prefer this brutal version of Batman, with the arm breaking and shit
Well in arkham games he's also brutal
hope they keep that aspect in the new movies. Got Batman out here like Stephen Segal. Makes sense, somebody as smart as Batman is going to make sure that in a room full of goons, that when they go down they stay down, and or rendered useless.
Thats the reason I like this fight scene because it really shows how overpowered and fast batman is ...just like the Arkham games... Batman- Putting fear in criminals and sending them to hospital emergency rooms since 1939
The fact that “none-lethal” can only go so far when the bullets start flying added an edge of reality to the fights that was sorely needed.
@@mifigor1935 this is basically the Batman from the games live action
One of the best superhero fight scenes Batman's no joke!!!
This batman is what we need. Not some kind of boring batman with that no killing rules and fight like a robot. Batfleck is the best
God, this is my favorite Batman. He's so brutal lol.
He is always brutal
That’s what the B in Batman stands for

Can't lie miss the old Batman yeah this one is cool but i feel like the outher batman showed the struggle with him fighting guys this one its like nothing
2:07 Batman removes the knife, then retaliates and stabs the bad guy at the exact same spot lol.
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction! -Newton

@@dvdarshan But, action and reaction are simultaneous.
After Batman finished beating up everyone else, the guy who stabbed him, he saved for last.
That's literally "MUHFUKA" without saying a word
This is actually how I always pictured Batman because of how dark his setting is. I know this isn't aligned with his established character, but I do like it a lot, this batman was badass.
I agree. Batman should be a one-man wrecking crew and here we have it.
Actually it IS what the real batman is^^ This version is based on the comics as far as I know
@@heikootto2865 It's not. In the comics Batman refuses to kill people, even Joker after he kills Lois and someone who's like his own son (Jason Todd); Batman has never been about killing and that alone leads to a lot of conflict w/ superman (Injustice ark) & Jason Todd who comes back as red mask or something (can't remember the name)
I love this fight sequence,.and the funny line at the end from lane,, but I remember when they first said BA was going to be batman, I laughed like everyone else, but, he turned out to be exactly what I had been looking for in batman. The height and frame with just the right amount of muscle, and his voice was way better than bale, and the action sequences "crushed".
