The writers totally butchered the actual story regarding the aliens that happened according to the real Travis. They spun it into a horror movie when it was merely Travis threatening the Greys after he awakened, stumbled into a room where he fiddled with some controls that made this large screen like a star map he was looking at shift, made him dizzy, then some Nordic looking man with a fish bowl helmet on his head who wouldn't speak came into that room, and proceeded to walk Travis off from the small ship he was on, onto a larger hanger with other crafts in it, then into a room, put to sleep and woke up on the highway looking up at the craft taking off. There was no ugly alien cutting a hole in some placenta looking thing on his face with dirty medieval looking tools who put grease into his mouth lol.

@@witcheshour9718 No, he said he woke up on a table surrounded by Greys, then later the Nordic looking ones after he went into another room.

This is true of literally every bio pic ever made. I heard an interview with the Director and he was prepared into making the abduction scene the way it turned out .other than that it's not that far from the actual events.
In 93 I went to see Groundhog Day which was sold out, and opted for Fire in the Sky and still talking about it. Most overlooked film ever. Highly suggested reacting to the Doc the Travis Walton Story where Travis and all the other workers are interviewed. It just doesn't make sense they would lie. It's caused them all kinds of trouble.
      Thanks for your reaction !!

Travis Walton is a very believable genuine guy.
Of course like most bio pics it takes liberties with the actual events. The Aliens were not violent with him and any ressarch done on him he was not awake for.

Happy Easter. Awesome, one of my favorite alien films. Absolutely horrifying. Because I was a teen when it happened and its based on true events its so intriguing for me. Travis' book called The Walton Experience is pretty scary, good, but scary. Theres a documentary (Shock Doc) with new evidence. With having to deal with awful interrogations and lie detector tests, exploitive press and so called claimed debunkers blaming the guys for killing him and doing everything to hide it, who would want too come forward? Fear makes people crazy. Thanx so much, take care, Peace

Other commenters have said the events depicted inside the spacecraft differ greatly from the source material, i.e. books, interviews, articles, etc. If true, that's problematic, but typical Hollywood. I'm still glad the filmmakers pulled out all the stops to create the final harrowing flashback scene in the alien operating room that has remained vivid in memory since I first saw it in 1993. No cuddly or angelic E.T.s here!

Hi Ezy, Happy Easter to you, and your family. Last June, when the Congressional Hearings about UAPs (UFOs) happened, and it was confirmed that alien beings have been visiting earth for many years, and some alien bodies have been recovered after a crash. I wrote a story about it for the paper that I work for. You wouldn't believe how many people came forward and wanted to talk to me about what they experienced. Of course, they didn't want their names in the paper, but the stories were really interesting. They get alot of UFO activity in upstate NY, apparently. I saw the real Travis on several interviews, and he seemed really frightened, and I think he was telling the truth. God has created many beings, not just us, I think. Thank you for the reaction!

Hey Happy Holidays!! yeah, that was weird that when the announcement happened for the aliens and uaps last year people didn't even care! I was confused. and that sounds very interesting getting unique story for you to right your papers on. oh, ok so I didn't know Travis was a real thing. Yeah, it has to be more than just us. ok thank you.

I don't know what kind of creatures these were in the film, but they were very scary. I was surprised by the Congressional Hearings as well.

When I was 8 or 9 yrs old my parents went to the movies to go see this movie. I begged to go with them not knowing anything about this movie. I was bored and dosed off a few times. Then the alien probe scene happened and I ran out the theater screaming. My dad tried to drag me back in, but I was too traumatized. They had to take my azz home without finishing the movie. I ruined their movie date 😅. I also had night terrors for months afterwards. Terror is real 😨😱

The aliens that Travis Walton encountered in real life were not as awful as this movie depicted. Travis was terrified at first of course and tried to run away, and he was in pain, so I assume they had done some type of testing on him. However, Travis did mention that later he saw a humanoid type of alien that looked almost angel-like, and he communicated with him, showing him where in the galaxy they were from. The movie completely left that part out, and I guess just wanted to make the aliens look like monsters for Hollywood purposes. For all accounts, everything points to Travis telling the truth, he passed the lie detector tests, and no one can account for where he was in those 5 missing days. Everything points to him telling the truth.

Fantastic! What's absolutely insane about this story is that the main character had two further independent lie detector tests by different agencies and at different times.
.... He passed those too. So whatever he experienced, it was real to him. 😳
Please if you haven't yet, react to "Nope". Would love to hear your thoughts.

"Lie detectors" don't detect lies. They simply document small physiological changes. Those changes are then "interpreted" by the interviewer.
Polygraph tests aren't accurate at all and can be manipulated by someone who knows how. They are little more than pseudoscience. There's a reason a polygraph isn't admissible in court.

I have a strange story about what I believe to be extra terrestrial or maybe uap but it's caused me significant trauma, my dog whiskey was following me around in the evening and we both saw a strange light, my dog screamed like she was in pain and I just stood there staring at the light , I came home after what I thought was a few minutes but turned out to be 3 hours, my dog had small wounds about her neck and paws and was terrified , I don't remember anything except coming home wondering why she was so scared and injured. Whiskey lived to be 15 years old but she was always terrified of going out at night. I have had a few strange dreams but otherwise have no recollection of those 3 hours. It seemed like just a few short moments from when we saw the lights until I noticed my dog cowering next to me.
