I thought this was going to be just another hyped up message about preaching, I was wrong. As I listened, I was stunned, speechless, and a fear of God came all over me, tears welled up as I couldn't' help but listen to the powerful preaching of men who have gone on to be with the Lord. What could I say, it made me look at my own Christian walk, it was like a bucket of cold icy water being poured over my soul. It made me think, where are the men & women of renown, who took up their cross and followed Jesus. It convicted me, I thought I was alright but I wasn't. I had to repent. It's a very powerful and moving preaching that I have ever heard, I just want Jesus to mold me and shape me into the person he wants me to be, so he gets all the glory for he deserves it.

But if your talking about the Almighty God, that created the universe plus this world and everything in it then yes, I have a reverential respectful fear of that all powerful, all knowing, self-existing, Alpha and Omega, healer and Saviour, King of Kings,and Lord of Lord, yes, I respect that soon coming King.
Respect and fear are different. Why would you fear someone who loves all? I mean. I'd think if God is there why would he damn non-followers to hell instead of enlightening them? Were all his kids arent we?

Yes I cried to, My nation needs to repent also of its sin but sadly because of its wealth they are pushing God out. all we can do as believers is pray for our nations and that god would save more before he comes.

There is certainly grace for you! The Father sees you as righteous as Christ Himself, without shame. The true and authentic demonstration of unconditional love extended to folks like us and though we did not earn it, when we glorify Christ, we are counted as righteous and therefore should not have any shame when we stumble. God hasn't even the shadow of turning. His mercies are renewed every day, so maybe we might renew our faith daily and work on forgiving ourselves. He has forgiven us- why shouldn't we forgive ourselves?

I am totally convicted. I was saved at the age of 7. I literally wept my way to the cross and felt clean and washed. Am I totally sold out? I do not know. I know my only hope is the Grace of God at the age of 69.

Today, Christians have become weak and their belief... they are confused, they don't know how to live the life of Christ. They don't read the word for themselves, they go to church on Sunday, and that's it. Christianity is not a religion, it's a lifestyle it's who you become when you give your life to Jesus Christ. I don't care what people say about me, I know who I am in the Lord. This is not a some kind of religious statement... you either live The Life of Christ, or you don't. It's as simple as that! Satan the enemy, has intensified violence, hatred, prejudice, all the evil things that are going on around us . People are being murdered for no reason, wrong is right and right is wrong, that's what's happening today. The world is in a big mess and he's the author of it... he's the Puppeteer, and the people are the puppets. The Bible says, the enemy roams around, like a lion, seeking whom he may devour.
My pastor, when I was growing up, was logical, scriptural and had a sense of calmness when he gave a sermon. There was no "fire and brimstone" preaching from him, it wasn't necessary. He laid out his arguments for salvation in a peaceful manner with the Word of God backing him up. One night, a visiting evangelist gave a sermon by screaming and threatening hell
fire for everyone. Most of us were already led to salvation. It scared children and was offensive for those of us in Christ. His sermons were to last one week. He spoke one night only. It's not up to pastors to convict us of sin, that job belongs to the Holy Spirit.
I want that anointing! I want to be the most powerful Christian alive! Fix me "I AM"! Fix me like no one ever seen before. Give me that anointing that Jesus have! Guide me! Order my steps this day! I need you Jesus! I need you Jehovah! I need you I AM!

Most amazing preaching I've ever heard we need more preachers like them in our churches it's sad to say that these days people don't want to hear the truth just what tickles their ears their is only one GOD.and we must serve him with all our heart and soul. .
While we love & appreciate the work that the Lord has done throughout history, & while we honour the men & women who have allowed the Lord to use them in the way He did, we must remember that those believers took a stand against the challenges they were facing at the time, & the Lord worked in accordance with those challenges in order to triumph over it.The challenges that we as the Church face today, are greater than what anyone has faced in times past.We simply cannot reach backward to grasp again what has worked for yesterday.
Rather, we must reach ahead because the greatest move of God is still ahead of us, not behind.The Church has historically not come to the place where we operate & walk in the fullness of all that we are called to.Jesus said that we would do greater works than He did.Historically, the Church has never reached this place, because it is still ahead of us.The Lord Jesus has certainly saved His best wine for last.Surely, the best is yet to come.The Son of God will be glorified on an unprecedented scale.Glory to God!!!
I've been in the church for 9 years. Jesus fits like a hand in glove for someone like me who came out of a failed marriage and dysfunction. For 9 years in the church I learned of Jesus's love, etc. etc. I believe, yet I was never changed. Yeah, I was a little nicer, I serve in many ways - Girls club, women's ministry, homeless. Yet - I wasn't saved. Never did I repent of my sins - I could point out others, yet continued in sin - my thoughts, my anger. Hearing sermons such as these would have drove the true Christian message. How many are filled in churches and serve themselves. Jesus makes you look good, Jesus makes you feel good. Its not about that - its about righteousness before a Holy God. Not "God has a wonderful plan for your life"
Paula Nix Agreed.First of all, not only is it to be expected that NOT all people in Church are actually Christians, but it is also Biblical.Secondly, the "God has a wonderful plan for your life" mumbo jumbo, is a fallacy that is propagated by mostly western Churches, because they prefer to view the Christian experience through the vantage point of the comforts & luxuries that the western world offers.Frankly, it is a slap in the face of a Christian who undergoes severe persecution & rejection simply because the are Christian.This is the reality for most Christians who do not stay in the west.How do you tell someone who isn't yet saved that God has a "wonderful plan for their lives" after they have witnessed people jailed, tortured or murdered for converting to Christianity?
