Toyota has had this feature since 2007, Nissan added it in 2016. Very usefull if you are hauling or towing heavy. Its not that your not blinding oncoming traffic but you also put the light back on the ground where it belongs so you can actually see better, especially when you need your high beams. When I put a 2"×1" lift/level on my 2016 XD diesel adjusting it down 1 click put the light back where it was when stock, and when I hauled a full pallet of stepping stones and 10 bags of sand I moved them down one more click and not one car flashed me for the entire 50 minute drive back to my property. I can't understand why the big 3 never ever thought to offer this feature, especially in the 3/4 ton work trucks.

Dealership had mounts in stock because they said they are known for engine mount issues. I baby this truck and don’t do any four wheeling. Front driver door panel had to be replaced and hooks holding passenger rear door have been replaced multiple times until I found an aftermarket clip that has finally held it in place. My 2019 Titan is amazing. I have mine lifted, blacked out and all but the front and rear decal removed. The decals are blacked out as well. I get so many compliments on it, because it looks different from the normal Silverado or f-150. People are amazed that it is a Nissan. My truck is heavy with steal bumpers all around not no aluminum bull. My family is safe in my tank from other vehicles and the weight is helpful for hydroplane situations. The only issue I have with my Titan is gas mileage. The body is heavy so it hurts on fuel efficiency, but I would rather pay more on gas to feel safe in my vehicle. The electrical features could be nicer, but I would easily trade them for a true V8 over all this flex fuel crap. Wish I could post a pic, but YT won’t let me in comments. Hope this comment helps someone in their decision.

For a half ton pickup the Titan has been a good option for years, where Nissan went wrong was marketing the “Titan XD” that was like some sort of light 3/4 ton setup with an optional v8 Cummins diesel they barely advertised…then right when it started to catch on they cancelled it. They’d have been money ahead to have just continued selling it as a nice alternative half ton pickup.
