A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ CZcams. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of CZcams I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on CZcams won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different

Notice that Flake was dressed in carbon black clothes at first. Then he emerged from the tub covered in glittering gems. Going "through the fire" transformed him into something remarkable. That whole scene is striking, both visually and allegorically. God, Rammstein knows how to do theatre.

I am a 60 yr old mum from Australia who loves Rammstein!! My son started playing their music at home when he was in high school and I was hooked. Want to see them before I die and want Du Hast at my funeral. Have their music so loud in the car the windows rattle. Grew up with AC/DC, Black Sabbath and Pink Floyd, this is just more wonderful music.
If this is true i wish you the best! I hope that you will be able to go to a Concert of them someday.

@@Badkapp62 It's true!! My son was lucky enough to have his photo taken with Til when Lindemann came to Melbourne for a promo tour just before their first album was released (which I love too). He got to hear some of the songs at the event and Til signed the poster. I was so jealous but wasn't going to make him take his mum so he took his mate who loves them too. My son has Rammstein's Logo tattooed on his upper arm, the only tattoo he has.
If you now 60 yr old, than you only a lot older than Till. He is born on 4. january of 1963. I come from east germany, how all of Rammstein, and was born in 1962. I've seen Rammstein live, it is very great and insame. You must seen it !!!

My son got to hear some of the album before it came out. I know that Til is only a bit younger than me. Just not many of my age are into them.

Rumshtine! Couple of years ago, when I worked in a hotel, I had the pleasure of hosting the band for one week. Most humble, pleasant and uncomplicated people I can think of. Not too fond of their music, but I really love the band.

Only big venue concert I’ve been too was Rammstein 2012 in Cleveland. It was amazing. Pyro, crowd interaction, energy, sound, it was all amazing. I was sitting first section, direct left of the stage, and till flipped off our section during the last song and yelled “f*ck you” to all of us. It was maybe the crowing moment of my life lol.

@@shirazzza It's about the 'soul' singing to the 'body' about all the horrid things it forces the body to do to reach some false peace of mind (put barbed wire in the urethra etc.). It's about the all-encompassing pleasure the 'body' receives from it's torment because it washes away all emotion and care for itself and it's environment.

Some producers of his recently goaded him into cutting up his arms all over to bleed on pages of his poetry for sale, bleeing 'sufficiently' on 1000 double pages of poetry.
I have been to 5 Rammstein concerts in my life. Never the same thing, always another one of the best live shows I have seen in my entire life. Seeing them live should honestly be top of the bucket list for any lover of music and live shows.
Loved your reaction. Check their live videos of "Engel" at Maddison Square Garden, and "Du Hast" in Paris... But my favorite of their's is "Wolt ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen".

I was at this show. This was definitely a highlight. Unfortunately, from where my seat was, I couldn’t really see Flake (the keyboard player who got blown up). He was behind the lights to the right. But I had a great view of the stage and Till. With this song, I actually really like the original video for it. But the song I highly recommend, which others here have recommended, is “Engel” from this show. It was their encore. And it was spectacular. 💜💜💜

They are big everywhere, but deeply beloved in Mexico. They announced 3 concerts in 2020 and tickets were sold out in SECONDS. Re-sells are at over $1,500.00 US dollars.
I got my ticket on time at a decent price but the concert has been postponed until November if Covid allows it 😩
This is right out of Babylon Berlin on Netflix. Even if I knew nothing about this group, I would recognize it immediately as coming out of Berlin. Such a unique cultural perspective and history. I was fortunate enough to live there for a few years when the Berlin Wall was still intact. Such a unusual city. Really, watch Babylon Berlin if you want to know the source of the culture of this performance.

I think Rammstein is probably the only band where half the audience goes home with a new case of PTSD.
Im SO EXCITED!! Gonna be watching them in concert for the first ime in 2022!!!! also; this ong is about BDSM, 'Ich tu dir weh' literally means ' I hurt you' as in cause physical pain. Till is the Captain, leading you into this world of pain because he gets pleasure from hearing 'Wie et schreich' how he (Flake) screams. Till then showers Flake in sparks (pain) and after Till deems Flake to be dead, he emerges in his sparkly outfit, reborn from pain.
You should check out 'Engel' from that same show.....nice job....these guys are amazing....Also. that MSG show has some of the best recorded, most powerful audio from a live show ever...IMO

I have seen so many concerts, I am old, Rammstein is by far the best live show I have ever seen, ever. It is not even close, you do not need to know a lick if German to enjoy it. (you better learn some lyrics to sing back at them though). They are not to be missed, even if you have to travel to see them, the bigger the venue the better. I have contemplated trying to see them in Europe just because of the footage from the Paris show. (think US puts some restrictions on their pyrotechnics, but still mind blowing)

If you want to see something that will blow your mind, watch the live madison square show, song is "fire Frei"....flame throwers out of their faces....unreal, but all their songs will include some kind of pyrotechnics

Watch the time lapse CZcams video of their newest stage show setup, it rises higher than the stadium itself, 30 semi trucks, the whole stadium soccer field with aluminum decking at least 1500 or more personnel... Their stage show is like erecting miniature city with a skyscraper in the middle. I think it's under time lapse Rammstein show setup

Rammstein surely have a really weird way of putting up a show. For those who don't know the band, it's like a bad heroine trip. But rest assured, the money spent on a ticket is very well worth it. All their live shows are memorable and never equal. Top band and top reaction.
Slipknot does live shows that are just as nuts.
Armin Van Buuren does really big live shows that feature amazing light shows and choreographed dancers.
One of Pink Floyd's most legendary live tours was the Pulse tour. Its vibe is more like a classical music concert....with the most incredible light show and musicianship you've ever seen: try the performance of "Comfortably Numb" from this show.

I'm from Germany and love Rammstein ever since seeing them as a support band, so no one knew, in a medium sized club more than 25 years ago. Even back then they had a crazy amount of pyrotechnics for a stage this small and for being only a support band.
I like the music videos, but in Rammsteins case live is always preferable.

They're coming back to the NYC area on September 10th. Assuming they play the same setlist as they were prior to COVID, unfortunately that song will not be apart of it. Very disappointing because that is my favorite Rammstein song.
You have to see a few of their other songs as well live is good, but the original music videos are great also. Sonne, Du Hast, Ich Will, Engel, Keine Lust, Mein Teil.
