This is from an Amnesty benefit concert broadcasted live on NRK TV, who was very much involved in the event, inviting politicians who was interviewed among the audience during the show. Or should I say sh!t show? Before the concert the TV crew had problems with the live broadcasting. My guess is the live broadcast had sound problems so NRK mixed the audio from the album with an audience loop and this is the result. drsnypejsek I wish people would stop asking this question, this was live, but for some reason TV stations used to overdub, to make them sound exactly like their studio recordings,. Morten always could sing better live than most others, and didn’t need the overdubbing,
ArnoldVeeman They didn’t need to be overdubbed, but it was common practice in these days. Morten never needed it, as he was pitch perfect live, and better than most other artists in a recording studio.

It was common for music programs to do playback when bands was in their TV studios but this is from an Amnesty benefit show that was put together by the state channel NRK TV. They probably had issues with the broadcast audio so they edited the album audio with an audience loop the days after and this is it. On the other hand.. The drummer is seen using in ear plugs. If that`s for some pre recorded tracks used on tour or they actually do a playback for the TV station only, so he played along tracks I don`t know but looking at Morten it almost seem like he is demonstrating his dislike of the whole thing so who knows.
