Hong Kong NWFB 65 - North Point to Stanley 4K⁶⁰

Join me as I take a ride on New World First Bus 65 from North point Ferry Pier to the beautiful village of Stanley and its surroundings on the south of Hong Kong Island.
Stanley, or Chek Chue, is a coastal town and a popular tourist attraction in Hong Kong. It is located on a peninsula on Hong Kong Island. It is east of Repulse Bay and west of Shek O, adjacent to Chung Hom Kok and Tai Tam. Administratively, it is part of the Southern District.
The Chinese name "Chek Chue" refers to the original village-town but "Stanley" generally refers to all the surrounding areas of the peninsula on Hong Kong Island.
This route is 16.1 km/10 mi long and consists of 35 stops. It takes about 40-45 minutes from start to finish. The adult fare as of 5 March 2023 is HKD 10.80, which is equivalent to USD 1.40.
We came across an accident scene in which a 84-year old taxi driver lost control of his taxi while coming down a hill and hit three people. Two of them ended up in critical condition, but luckily no one died. More info here - www.thestandard.com.hk/sectio...
