You're looking too much into it, and may draw the wrong conclusion. The Agatha official heraldic colours are blue and gold ("azure" and "or", in heraldry, but that doesn't roll off the tongue as good). The "white" is called argent, symbolizing peace, and is also silver. There is no difference between white and silver in heraldry, and both are blazoned as Argent. "Metals" class of tinctures.
This game did not start with Chivalry 1 even,, it started as Age of Chivalry, a Source mod from 2007.
