Thank you for that demonstration! My Big shot does not have those numbered pages like yours has.
When I put the bottom plate then the embossing folder and the top plate, it cannot roll through. The handle won’t turn as though it’s too thick.
Have you advice for me regarding embossing? I am new at die-cutting and embossing. I only just got my Big Shot.
I'm not sure. Have you tried it with just one clear plate on top of the embossing folder? Do you have the right platform for your machine?

The embossing folder I am using wont fit into my Sizzix machine! I am only using the bottom plate along with sandwiching the folder between the two plates. How do you do it in that case? YOur video is good.
Thank you! My platform has two flaps. According to the instructions on the flaps, I lift the flap numbered 2 and then run the embossing folder through sandwiched between the two plates.
I really love the zizzix big shot and use it for many different things. I hope you get more familiar with it before you do another video.

I just purchased one and my plates are flat on their own but when I sandwich them they almost lift and when I run them through feels like they are going to break. Normal?

That was a long time ago but I think Honby Lobby.
My big shot did not come with this sandwich plate thingy, nor did it come with a silicone mat for the embossing.
Love that music folder.
The embossing folders didn't come with mine, but all the plates did.
Where do u get such great sales?
I wait patiently until clearance season. The clearance season at Hobby Lobby has started rolling out.

I think my brand new Big Shot is a dud! I know my sandwich is correct and I just can't get the machine to pull anything through!
Did you register your machine? I would contact the manufacturer.
