Xenoblade: "You Will Know Our Names"
IGN: "Rain and Duncan"
It's 2am here and I bursted out in laughter
More like Rayn and DUNDUN
And the Napon.
Duncan, legendary hero of the Hams from the Bianis.
Love that this has become a widespread meme 😂
Me: Casually fighting an enemy I need for a side quest
Level 98 Unique Enemy: "Greetings"
*Vision appears*
Welp, those first 15 seconds of the song were enjoyable.
Now it's freaky time
This is so true with every game that has a specific combat theme
Thank Mechonis it plays fully in Future Connected
Elvin the Gengar
Bye bye visions!
Elvin the Gengar srsly tho, unique monster in the og game needed to be like they were in XBC2 (actually a challenge)

I like how they created this badass theme and then used it for some dude called "Aggressive Cornelius"
And then he beats the shit out of you.
can’t forget “Prudent Purson” either
‘Immovable Gonzalez’
‘Cunning Ricardo’
‘Bioluminescent Bob’
‘Jingoistic Gigantus’
‘Prohibitor Giuseppe’
And of course, ‘Territorial Rotbart’

You Will Know Our Names into Time To Fight is a powerful buzzkill

Funny thing is, I actively avoided the Rotbart because of all the horror stories I had heard. Instead, I actively engaged literally everything else that was around my level, then got trampled underfoot by the Tephra Cave caterpillar.
Yeah.
I've played every xenoblade game and have never ever had issues with the high level monkeys in each respective early grassy area. But apparently I'm one of the only ones lol
______ he’s much easier to avoid now since the draw distance on unique monsters is so huge. But in 1 I got stomped by Rotbart a few times
@@MrStarman926 In the original, it felt like they aptly named him "Territorial"
Drewtendo he definitely didn’t like you in his space.
he isnt nearly as bad in DE as he is in 2. can see you across damn near the entire map
Walking into a battle just to see a vision immediately
Nintendo didn't need to remake the music.
But they did anyway.
God bless.
Hey toon noah
That unique in Tephra Cave killed me in the original and in the remaster.
The snail mother fucker??? Yeah bro fuck that guy lmao
@@Attatsu Nah, the little bug dude on the way into Mag Mell Ruins. The snail can also do one, he's placed right where people will walk into him.

Cellar Bugworm kills both the new players and the old players. The only Unique Monsters I've had trouble with on my second playthrough is Cellar Bugworm, Mischevious Naberius, Magestic Mordred and Firework Geldesia. Though I've only beaten 3 out of the 5 superbosses so far.
“Looks like we don’t have a choice!”

xenoblade players: *PTSD FLASHBACKS*
Don't you mean PTSD visions?
I stand corrected
Who's goddamn idea was it to add trumpets?
I LOVE IT
They added the Hoenn trumpets to You will know our names?
BEST. SONG. EVER!
i cant believe they turned it into a pokemon battle theme
Hoenn trumpets make everything better. I'm 70% sure that if they played the Hoenn trumpets at the protests we would end racism within the week.
Hoenn trumpets are great, but hopefully you guys are talking about god tier ORAS trumpets, and not the sound of a flashbang that RSE trumpets make
*there were trumpets in this theme?
*always has been
@@General_Degenerate Both the French horns of the originals and the trumpets in the remakes.

Shulk one second after this song starts playing:
*I'm... sorry...*
shulk bad lol
I didnt know my funeral music can be so damn badass.
1:04 is so good. Especially when you start a chain attack!
The theme that plays when people try to steal your toilet paper when shopping.
I started this game two days ago. I just barely beat some super powered level 29 crab when I was level 23 with this theme playing. Lots of chain attacks, reviving, and skills cooling down just in the nick of time. It was awesome.
Yeah beating a boss in this game (and even in Xenoblade 2) after a rough battle with reviving and chain attacks is one of the most satisfying things in gaming imo.
I once was in a unique battle and my main died without any party gauge left, the other two party members killed the monster just in time before I respawned. Needless to say, this game will be forever hype in my eyes.
END OF GAME SPOILERS AHEAD

Watching this start to play as Shulk and Fiora badass walk towards Dickson was by far one of the best experiences in the game
Agreed
In slow motion!
Yes, right after the entirety of Engage the Enemy plays while every single party member is given the spotlight. It's beautiful
Don't forget when this played once Shulk got the Monado an upgrade to FINALLY even the playing field against Metal Face
Ngl, that scene gave me goosebumps and made me squeel like an idiot.
When this theme plays, but Melia is in the party and there's a ledge nearby.
Sleep!
I sparking love this song.
Sees post time “Well that didn’t take long”
You gotta be careful with post time though. Being too early gets you copyright striked by Nintendo.
press this for a chain attack : 1:04
Shulk: "Slit Edge! Ryen It's your move!"
Reyn: "I know, I know. Sword Drive! Sharla!"
Sharla: "Metal Blast!"
A
Shulk: "Monado Buster!"
the hidden rule of this game: engage the chain attack in that exact moment
Mine is 0:44 and then Monado Buster at 1:04
kinda insane how frequent that happens
@@doobiousyt LOL spot on my dude
xenoblade has to have one of the most hype af osts ive ever listened to
iTs ChAnGiNg FoRm!!!!
That guitar sounds so much like the GaMetal version of this
New players: Oh cool, a big creature in the distance! I wonder if it's friendly!
Approximately 18 seconds later: *oh no oh no oh no*
*angry monke noises*
targets enemy sees if it's on on sight attack or no
This is why you should always press L or R before battle
They remastered the music, im done. This is godly. I loved the constant hype of the original, but the way this version builds up hype, especially with the trupmets, puts this one above the original.
The way the guitar just fucking RIPS at 1:05 straight up tore out a piece of my soul.
Everything about this version is better except that it's missing the guitar wail in the first few seconds of the song
I like this one because it builds the hype more effectively as opposed to the original which was just hype all the way through this one feels like your building to the hype
Maybe that explains why I like this version better for cutscenes, but the original for fights. After all, in 90% of fights, you want the player hyped the whole way through. But in cutscenes, things need to build.
Chugga:When you hear this music you run.
Chug a vulnerary!
Wait, this isn't fire emblem...

Wait, this isn't secret of mana...

Wait, this isn't xenoblade 2...
FUCK THERE'S NO HEALING ITEMS IN THIS GAME
The theme of the Rotbart.
The original song had the vibe of proving yourselves against impossible odds. This version feels more like demonstrating your power to those who underestimate you.
The name fits both versions so well!
The "where did the territorial rotbart come from!?" theme
FANCY MEETING YOU HERE, MONADO BOY
Nothing hurts more than using a Monodo art then getting a vision immediately after
WE NEED A XENOBLADE WARRIORS
ABSOLUTELY THAT WOULD BE SO HYPE

Xenoblade chronicles 3 Is Real, ohhh boy
See Giorno's theme ?
That's what this is for your ENEMIES. When you hear this as you go through Gaur Plain, *YOU RUN*
I'm really feeling it
To this day i still remember a Miiverse post i once saw, where a kid describes his experience talking about the Xenoblade music from Smash Bros 3ds on the bus
Music peaked, it can only go downhill from here
Can confirm that DID NOT HAPPEN, AND THAT THIS IS NOTHING COMPARED TO THE OTHERS.
Think again bucko, there's no such thing as downhill here
I really want be able to change to this music for unique monster battles encountered in Xenoblade chronicles 3.
I was just looking for Volff hides. Territorial Rotbart literally comes the fuck outta nowhere and scares the shit out of me. He one-shots my entire party.
12/10 best game.
He was preventing you from poaching, justice monke
Love the trumpets
The theme of "Somebody in the near vicinity without access to a Trinity Processor core is about to absolutely get his/her/its butt kicked"
Y'know
I keep this vid in a playlist with like almost 200 other songs. And the whole playlist ranges from extreme action battle music like this... to literal lullabies.
And nothing really snaps me too it like the jump from "gently being lulled to sleep" and "PICK UP YOUR FUTURE SEEING LASER SWORD, WE HAVE ROBOTS TO KILL"
And I love it
I love the structure of this theme. The beginning is stressful and intimidating but if you survive the first minute it just gives you this "hell yeah, we're doing this" anime as fuck soundtrack
Man, I remember being introduced to this series after playing the 3DS version so glad they remixed this track! And well, every other track in the game.
I WON’T GIVE YOU THE CHANCE TO USE THAT POWER!
Hey I finally found him
Visions of the future "I'm going to ruin this tunes whole career"
i enjoy hearing the first 10 seconds of this song in nearly every battle
The drums at 1:30 get me everytime.
The one thing I love about this song is that it either serves to pump you up for a fight you started, or informs you that you fucked up and went somewhere you shouldn't have.
I like how they use this theme for all of the named monsters. Its neat!
imagine a xenoblade anime with this as the opening. holy shit
I love this theme so much! I always bump the volume up as I approach a unique monster and it gets me pumped UP!
YESS I've been waiting to hear this everytime I got an ad about it
The hype has turned up to eleven.
“I’ve got a good rhythm going”
Also known as: THE LOCAL SUPERBOSS HAS LOCKED ONTO YOUR LOCATION AND IS APPROACHING RAPIDLY
One of the BEST Videogame OSTs of all time! Seriously, it's just too good!!
Time to Fight! - into - You Will Know Our Name - is the - Oh shit, Oh Fuck *dies* music.
My life is finally complete this is all I needed
I used to prefer the original. And then after hearing this version enough times, it really grew on me. Now I like this version better than the OG.
it's the best version of the song for me. makes me wish it was in smash.
I like the original more but this is still a great remix. It just doesn't beat the og one imo
I love the added trumpets!
...these guys set the bar for how Definitive Edition OSTs should be done.
The "Territorial Rotbart has just joined the battle" music...
Ironically a really good song for running away
Theme of "Territorial Rotbart comes in while you're fighting low-level monsters and mercilessly beats your ass"
or
"Fighting Avalanche Abaasy and Final Marcus spawns in your face and now you're fighting two superbosses at once, so you better hope those mega-heated Unbeatable VI gems save your ass lolol"
I will never get tired of this OST
Unless we fight, we cannot proceed!
this goes so fuckin hard
Yo the fuckin horns are getting me hyped more than they should
This hits so hard on Prison Island
Just beat the game and came back to this after, still the best tune in the game, 10/10 would play again
The fact that this song is amazing AND emulates how battling a unique monster is like, makes the song that much better than You Will Recall Our Names.
You will recall our names does both of those things, I don't see your point. As great as this song is, I've always preferred YWRON from the first time I heard it. The chorus at least
@@eeeeggnog._. Nah, Ywron is more upbeat and confidence-boosting at the start of the song, whereas ywkon has more of a coarse and terrifying tone. Although I do agree ywron is a better song.
Ah yes the guardian theme in Xenoblade
The song you don't wanna hear when you're fighting an enemy and it randomly plays
Can't wait to get my ass kicked by the Territorial Rotbart in Xenoblade Chronicles 3
Oh no
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSS
Tragic decision next?
That song is incredible and Nintendo nuked it off CZcams
I still vibe to this
