How well do you know your Southern African birds calls? Find out by playing along with my bird call challenge over the next ten days! Each day I will post a video with 15 bird calls - 5 easy, 5 moderate and 5 difficult. The challenge is to not only see how many you get right in each video, but also what your grand total is out of 150 at the end of the 10 challenges.

Brilliant one. Dipped on Thick-billed Weaver and African Pied Wagtail.
11/15. Red-capped instead of Chorister! Jacobin instead of Levaillant's; Namaqua Warbler instead of B-N Eremomela and then was clueless on D1. Total score: 112/135
99/135. Thought so much an Eremomela towards the end. Again not the full spectrum of calls played, some of which I am less familiar with than others. Can’t wait for #10!

Noo the videos must not come to an end! Enjoying them too much, today was a good challenge but I managed to get 14, so that brings my total to 121 out of 135, not too bad, even if I say so myself, I'm actually surprising myself with how much I know, I would never have thought that I would recognize so many calls. Thanks for yet another great video.

Slipping down the list, only 3 today! 40/135
This has been a really good challenge to know the bird-calls even though one doesnt know the habitat. I find I know the birds in my region and some in Kruger which I have visited often. It's those in areas I dont get to much which are really tricky. Only 83 out of 135
A day late! But 3/15 this round. Total of 25/135. Too much to hope that challenge number 10 give us a full house? Haha ok. Doing number 10 now
