But I think we need to do more listening in the bush 😂🙈 We did not do well in this one 😂 The cheetah & the wild dogs we thought were birds 🙈 But because of our competitive nature it was of course a competition between Rikus & I and Stacy won and will now receive coffee in bed 😉 Thanks Villiers for an awesome video 🙌🏼

I was able to identify 9 out of 25, first I thought it was not so great, but I have changed my mind after seeing other's results. I live in California, USA, but come there quite often.😇🤗thanks for the challenge!
Yay you are back this is just so awesome I absolutely loved the "How well do you know your bird challanges", I still listen to them almost monthly to try and identify the some of the bird calls I didnt get right. So super proud of hubby and myself we managed to get 15 right from this challange, some of the bird sounds got us stumped. Looking forward to the next challange 😁
Failed miserably. identified Bushbuck alarm call as Kudu. Got hippo, lion, vervet, impala, baboon, arrow marked babbler and tropical boubou. It's been 3 years that I have been to Southern Africa. But these sounds bring back memories time spent in the bush much more intensely than any video footage. Thanks a lot.
Got 8....got stumped by Ostrich...I thought it was Gaint Eagle Owl...interesting to hear what a Fruit bat sound sounds like. Well done Villiers, great challenge! 👌🏻
I really enjoyed this video and the challenge. I did quite badly, just 6. I was VERY surprised with the cheetah, forgot about its sound, and thought it was a bird. THANK YOU. Looking forward to the next, and next, and next
Just passed (13/25), but I have to say, there was no chance at all for getting more. The only real embarrassments were the bushbuck (which I confused with Kudu) and the baboon (which wasn't clear or the typical call). The others were... well... for the experienced field traveller :)
6 out of the 25. I'm relieved others also didn't recognize more. 😅 I got the wild dog (yesss! 😃) but thought the ostrich was a ground hornbill and I confused the vervets with baboon. The bushbuck's quite similar to the kudu, isn't it? 🙈 Thank you so much for this challenge, I'll use it to practise for my KNP/Sabi Sand trip in July this year 💪🏼🤗🍀

I got 15 out of 25 right. Immediately recognized the hoo call of the painted wolf/African wild dog.
11/25... quite a few threw me. Think I need to go to the bush soon to brush up ;)
Only 12 ... weak on the mammals and birds outside my immediate area. Good prompt to travel more and to tune into the sounds of the bush.
