This video contains quite a bit of footage of Simon smoking. Radio 1 really doesn't approve of smoking, but even we can't stop Simon doing it.

People may be cynical but I for one think Simon Cowell is a genius. So many people looked down their nose at him, and still do, yet he proceeded to work his way to the top. His work ethic is something to look up to. I would love to have a percentage of his success as an aspiring music manager myself.
I love the way Nick interviews people, it's relaxed, fun, and the questions seem organic,with enough depth to be interesting without being offensive.
that was so enjoyable to watch, i didn't expect Simon to be this funny, genuine and nice, and i like the way he spoke about the boys, it's nice to know they have such genuine relationship.

Nick is such an underrated interviewer - he is so good at making people comfortable.
I just love Nick Grimshaw and Simon Cowell. If i was Simon and i had that question of "How do you want to be remembered" I'd say "I want to be remembered as the guy who gave people a chance to make their dreams come through".
Nick led this interview really well. Very smooth. That's a talent too.
Knew someone would comment about him smoking. It does like bad but I bet he just thought, I can do what the fuck I want because I'm in my office 😂

That was such a great interview nick! I didn't realised how down to earth simon was and the way he talked about the boys was so sweet, I love how they actually have such a good relationship with eachother x

Why the hell is there a warning in the description of the fact simon is smoking? Who cares yes it's bad for you but it's his choice. Not everyone who watches this is not going to start smoking because Simon is. Also it's not like he's encouraging it he's just doing it and focusing on the interview.

Though I'm a late watcher but I really loved hearing to the both of them. Simon has been my favourite judge ever since I have started watching reality shows. And this interview had some really good lessons to teach.

Its good to see simon relax in his own space, its strange how he doesn't do this type of thing more offen. its good to see hes went from his mr nasty to mr nice, from him taking part in his bucket challenge etc, But the smoking this is a big put off

@Daniel MulIings, I heard that people who smoke cigarette or cigars can deform their mouth by contracting the muscles of the lip and mouth to make a partial vacuum when smoking.
