No, I think it's because he's stationary. He shoots better when he's in motion. You stand still at the free throw line and that probably feels unnatural to him.
Luka is not slim at all. 2018 was the last year he was in decent shape. Incredible player, but just does not like to go to the gym. He has a couple of years to change his attitude otherwise he will be just another James Harden.
I kind of get what you are saying, and I don't fully disagree but Luka don't drop his production the moment it matters a little bit.
