How does the bike run with that Air filter? I want to put my sprint po8 air filter but im scared it may need a flash to work correctly or else bike will suffocate itself taking in too much air…. Unless its not needed?
Any complaints about dust getting past the airfilter and inside the airbox? The old ones (2014-on) were prone to leak, we had to use Permatex to seal the airbox covers... Maybe the construction is now better.
@@Reapersnet thanks the reason I asked . I put a k&n in a street triple 675 and years later transferred it to a Daytona 675 still have it 9 years on . I noticed in both a change or lost the air box sound/tone . Hard to tell if it made power increase . saves money not replacing paper filters long term.. I’ve had the 675 for years so can strip down blind folded bought the super duke as 2nd bike so it’s a case where do I start . So Thanks for sharing that .
Just changed mine but when its time to start the bike after everything is put together he wont start its like it have no gas do you have any idea what could cause this ?
This was a BIG help, thanks! Installed a BMC filter.

The sprint filters po8 are the problem they let all the dust thru
Does the connector deal on the fuel line on the bottom of the tank also act as like a flow prevention or did you have the tank completely empty ?
Yes it stops the flow

@@marcog.3533 it fits the gen 3 dosent look the best but does the job of wind protection

Do you notice any differences after the swap? Good video by the way!
thanks just been for a short ride hard to say need a good ride to see
@@Reapersnet yes probably so small differences anyway. But guess can make some gain in high revs duo to the ramair intake and lower restriction maybe
@@RaWwE94 true prob only see the difference on the dyno
Why bother to change it then?
