I've been on carnivore for almost 4 months now. The key is not really the protein, but the fat intake. Helps you stay in ketosis and regulates your energy/sleep/hunger, etc. Also, I find that beef is the prime meat to eat. Eggs, chicken, pork, fish are not bad. However, they just don't satiate you like beef, especially ground beef.

First I understood his point. But in the end, he said he was getting ill. Then I completely became confused.

went from a fully junk died for my whole life, 110kg full of health issues, directly on Lion's diet. steak n salt. kept my morning coffee also. 1 shot of espresso 2 hours after waking up. 6 weeks into it already, went down to 92kg, never feel hungry, full of energy ready to conquer the world. just note that, i drink 3-4 liters of water daily since caffeine and tobacco (yes, im a smoker too), and I eat just 2 meals a day within 4-5 hours and that's it. no more sleeping apnea, no more kidney stones, no more stomach acid/fluid, no more depression, i just stand up when sitting on my computer and do exercises just because I feel energetic, no more headaches, no more overthinking, i sleep like a baby from 3-4 hours daily (before lions diet), to now 7-8 hours. my skin is shining like im a teenager again (currently 38yo). i don't get disappointed about anything anymore, just trying harder. just 6 weeks in, and what keeps me going, is the curiosity of how I'll be in 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 3 years etc. Dudes and Dudettes out there, last thing i need to do is find the strength to quit smoking after 23 years. Pray for me, this anonymous person sharing this story, speak with the universe and give me the strength to do it. Anyway, i feel better than ever, my confidence level is to the moon, got 90% success ratio when flirting with Females even if they are considered 8s 9s or 10s. Too shy though to get in front of a camera to share my story. I value my anonymity and privacy but, you..yes you, the person who reads this comment, you if me, a food junkie, a lazy buddha looking fella from a small island called Cyprus deep into Mediterranean sea could do it, there's literally no one who can't. I apologize for my broken English but yeah... Sisters and brothers out there, love yourself more than anything, take care of yourself, it's NEVER too late, and you'll not regret this. Peace and love to all (except from bankers and politicians).

Try quitting during a fast! I think it could help mentally because you're already eliminating so much

My best friend is a tall fit dude. At his younger age he ate mostly fresh bio organic meat bc he grew up as a son of a butcher family.
Meanwhile his parents were short, he became very tall. I was surprised to hear that. So carnivore or meat based diet is imo the best thing you can do in your teen years imo.

substitute the chicken for lamb or beef and try it again! That was better for me than chicken or pork so I don't eat em hardly ever. With breakfast I like free range eggs and fish, usually smoked or salt salmon, and bristling sardines. But always beef or lamb for the main meal. Usually I'll eat it with some cheese slices, milk or kefir if I have any, and a couple bites of something sour like sourkraut. Its a lot of good fats. I've been eating that way for more than a year and I still love it. Shopping is simple, and no more sleep medication or any drugs for that matter. No more strange pains and panic attacks about my health. That all just evaporated without me even noticing

Well done for trying your best and glad you noticed some benefits. Some points to note: carnivore diet is about high fat not higher protein and the staple is fattier meat not lean such as lamb and primarily beef. Therefore you were likely low in fat and wouldnt feel too great, if you were ever in the carnivore zone at all with what sounds like too many carbs. There is an adjustment period also, as with anything diet related or indeed any other changes we may make to our routines. Finally getting spots on carnivore happened to me too but thats short term. As a doctor explained to me when younger and when i went vegetarian and broke out in spots, he said thats normal sign of your body adapting to a changed metabolism and excreting things it no longer needs or flushing toxins. He said this would equally happen if you went back the other way from veegtarian to normal diet. So its not a bad sign its just a normal sign of adapatation happening.

Any seed oil isn't ok and a little bit of carbs and no butter and salt makes it worse if you get dehydrated not taking electrolytes.
