    What type of coating was on the tumblr? I’ve only seen this on stainless steel. I’m super interested as I’m making Christmas gifts

      Hi! This tumbler is Mainstays brand. It’s stainless steel with a powder coat finish. Powder coating is the key. But honestly most all stainless steel mugs these days are powder coated.

    My issue im having with the TAL tumblers is my edges. And if you scrub with a sponge it scratches everything 😭

    • @BeesKneesSVG
      @BeesKneesSVG  Před rokem

      Yes! The TAL takes a lot of scrubbing. Have you tried the Scrub Daddy Sponge? It's my favorite. It's a non-scratch sponge and I use it on all my tumblers and have never had it scratch the paint or stainless steel. Love it!

      @@BeesKneesSVG I tried it a little lastnight but honestly was so scared to really get into with it 🤣 I'll try it next time. I've seen videos where the powder coats just flakes off and mine is coming off easily it's just the edges are crisp. Do you think using an actual stencil vinyl would make a difference? I've just been using scrap pieces of permanent vinyl I have

    • @BeesKneesSVG
      @BeesKneesSVG  Před rokem +1

      In my experience you get crisp edges from scrubbing. Just keep working those edges. I even take an orange stick (or toothpick) and run along the edges. Kind of like I'm detailing it. It can take a while. Some tumbler brands are definitely easier than others.

      This particular tumbler is Mainstays. I had to leave the Citristrip on for 100 minutes. Here is a link to my cheat sheet www.beeskneescreates.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Citristrip-Etching-Tumbler-Times-1.pdf.
