- In this video, I'll show you how to record phone calls on iPhone in just one-step. It's all done using an app which allows you to record unlimited phone calls for free.
There are many reasons you would want to record a phone call, whether you're a journalist, a writer, a podcaster or a content creator. In fact, small business owners and solo-preneurs could use this tip to record phone calls to improve customer service, performance monitoring, for training purposes and to facilitate more informed decisions based off the recordings of their customers.

To record incoming calls:
1. Pick up your incoming call.

Nice job...thank you! I just subscribed because I've now watched three of your vids and you are a great learning source. QUESTION: I download Rev and tried to do exactly what you demo'd. However, when calling the Rev number (at the beginning to initiate a call), Verizon tells me the number is not in service. Are they out-of-business? Or, is there a new number? Seeing how I downloaded with the past hour, I would expect a new number would have been updated in their app? I look forward to your answer. Thanks again.

Well you couldn't figuratively be looking two weeks ago could you? You should really learn how to use the word in its correct context. The word has started to lose its meaning as we throw it around like there's no tomorrow. I don't see how there is any other way to interpret "two weeks ago" any other than literally. So why use it when there was no figure of speech used, no analogy, no metaphor or idiom used.

Once connected, merge the Rev recorder with your call to start recording
So what you really need to know is how to merge phone calls. Check with the iPhone help for that.

Thanks for the videos you make. Do bot sides hear the short message that the call is being recorded? I realise some places you have to advise the other that the call is recording, but some don’t if you tell them on the very first time you speak to them, so is there any way to change the message to be on oe off based on if they already heard it, or if not at least to change it manually to be more professional? Eg ‘welcome to company name, this call may be recorded for training or monitoring purposes’? I need a system that can do this. I found with voip services but not on iPhone normal numbers. Any suggestions don’t mind paying for app if it’s good and simple to use.
There is an option in the settings to disable the recording announcement

I love all the caveats to check with your local and state authorities when every company in the USA that you call does it automatically without asking you.
They’re required by law to tell you, and most do, “This call may be recorded for training or quality assurance purposes”.
This is great for outgoing calls but what about incoming calls????

Is there any way to record phone calls on an iPhone? I’m in Canada and couldn’t find any apps or ways to record a phone call conversation. Most apps have the record capabilitiesBUT you have to pay for so many credits. Which is not what I’m looking for. Tks.

I need to use my “recent calls” to return calls and have it record it. I don’t want to have to reenter phone numbers, especially numbers I don’t want in my contacts list. I’d like to turn on the record app and then just have it record when I make any call.

I missed the answer (on incoming calls) if the caller hears the notice that they’re being recorded? If so, can the notice be turned off for incoming calls?

Funny actually. Rev didn’t have a code for me at the time of filming. It’s something they’re working on. If you want, you can use the coupon link in the video description to order transcription through a browser.

Unfortunately their privacy policy is not good, look under the “data used to track you” is concerning. Therefore, it is not actually “free” as they use and sell your personal data and location, a privacy breach. Hard pass.

Why is it that call recording apps don’t work on iPhones. I just got the iPhone 13 pro max and it really sucks I can’t get an app to just simply record when I make a call. Why do I have to call another number that’s bullshit. I never had to do that on android phones. I imagine it’s a security thing but I really need to be able to record my calls but I call so much I can’t have customers getting a call from a strange number instead of mine just because I want to record it. Strike 1 for iPhones

You only need permission if you are planning to file a lawsuit and go to court, you can’t use it in court, otherwise you don’t need permission. I called to labor department and that is what they told me.

The app is not free, it gives you the option of a 3 day free trial, but all of the apps pretty much do the same thing so this one is nothing special.

I got the app but the person I was recording heard the app say now recording. I don’t want it to say that. I don’t want them to know I’m recording. I’m trying to use it for notes because I forget what people say. Can u help me with this?
By law you have to inform the other party that you are recording them. You can just ask the people ahead of time. Saying “hey I wanted to inform you that I will be recording the call to ensure that I transcribe or properly address your concerns. You name and personal information will not be used” if you want

You have to merge calls, announcements stating recording, put it on speaker then record, etc. I think they are all worried about getting sued for violating some federal laws on communication or something to that effect 🤷🏻♂️ Stupid because all these technologies you can do it……but you simply can’t just hit a button and record because of some obscure federal laws on wire tapping 🫤

I just downloaded the app rn and was able to turn it off . You go into settings & click on “2 party legal disclosure” to turn it off

I need to be able to record my soon to be xwife calls , she has threatened me to have me killed in several occasions , unfortunately I haven’t been able to do so . One thing I could do is to carry an xtra phone , leave it on stand by ready to record her crazy phone calls .
