Do you know of a better one-stop shop for recording, transcribing, and translation services?
Check out audio acrobat

I wish it automatically recorded calls. When I had an android there were several call recording apps that automatically recorded all incoming and outgoing calls. When you hung up, it would ask you if you wanted to save or delete the recording. Much better!
David Emerling i would like to check some out sometime. Thanks 😊
@@AppAxis why does Apple make it so hard to record calls? Also, do u know of an app that can take all of my text message from one thread and email them? I really feel like there should be an option on the iPhone that lets you do this. For example my attorney needed all of the text messages between me and the person I was in Litigation with. And I had to take 600 screenshots and then upload them to my dropbox share the dropbox it was the most annoying situation. It would’ve just been so easy to hit one button and have the entire thread sent. I know that you can share screenshots of messages easy from iPhone to iPhone but why can’t you send a text thread via email to anyone without having to do all that screenshotting? Ps another reason this app your discussing is so great is that you can use it to give police if you’re being harassed
@@MyLifeIsATrueStory Apple makes thing difficult to save us from ourselves and this has the “side effect” of keeping u/dedicating u in there product-sphere. I recall there being a service that would offload and organize voice messages years ago. Tech has caught up and it should be easier now for us to”DIY” or use an app that can organize our texts or anything we have ever posted online. I will be sure to look this up. Sounds like someone would have made it already. Stay tuned! #GreatInsight #TextDownloader #InstantMessageThread #EmailMeMyTextHistory
@@AppAxis maybe I should parent the idea;-) lol
@@MyLifeIsATrueStory the tech is there! GO for it!
Thanks for the review, good information and solid review!
Im glad that you enjoyed it Jim. Im working towards improving the channel. Are there any productivity apps that make life easier for you?
of course we still make and receive phone calls . . .What world do you live in ? in outer space? It´s simply more work to write instead of speaking and more impractical
Downloaded it. It’s 4 years later since making the video. I can’t see the incoming/outgoing tab. Does this app still work today? Thanks
Thanks for this video! However, today I downloaded this app for the first time and cannot see incoming and outgoing options. It seems very difficult to record an incoming calls through this app
When you call, there is someone says this call is being recorded. Not secret.
There’s an option in the settings to turn it off
As of 3/18/21 it’s $1.25 per minute for a transcription. If you use a minute and 15 seconds it’s still 2 minutes.
Thanks for the update. #RisingPrices
Am I able to record a call with my wireless headphones on? A friend was using another app, wearing the wireless but it only record his voice.
Thanks
Yes, it worked for my ATH-M50xbt headphones.
Important note --> *US PHONE CALLS ONLY*
I’m not sure that this would be a good option if I want to record a lot of calls. This seems good for a recorded transcript that I might need periodically.
I don't need a transcription. Does the App save the sound file as MP3 or AAC for my files? Where? My iPhone? Can I direct it to my Dropbox or iCloud account?
the audio saved directly to my phone when I last used it. At that time I do not believe that the audio could be recorded remotely (dropbox). However there has been so many changes recently with Rev (2020 changed a lot in this business sector), that I am not sure what added or removed functionality the app has. I will have to take a look myself. The good news is that as long as you don't need the transcription services, you should be able to play with it for free. Hope that helps. Cheers
What number shows up and can you do this with incoming calls as wells
Will the other person know you are recording? If you merge the calls does it show up on their phone as a call with two other people? Does it still announce that the call is being recorded?
Nicholas Kaprielian all great questions! When I reviewed the app originally, No the other party was not notified. But since then there is a notification built in. I think it would be good to run a test w/ 2 or 3 friends the exact scenario your suggesting. But I WILL tell you that I had a 4 way family meeting call that I used REV to transcribe for legal reasons and it worked fast and accurately. But I Manually reminded everyone that joined late that the call was being recorded. I hope that helps. FYI: The recorder is free. They r hoping that u need a transcription service $$. 😁
App Axis thank you! :)
Yes the other party knows. Not on iphone but a better solution is app Voice recorder by bacha soft
When you download the app, make sure to unselect/disable the 2-Party Legal Disclosure in the settings. Otherwise, it automatically defaults to that being enabled and when you call the person, it notifies them that they are being recorded. It says something like "this call is being recorded". If you unselect this setting, then it does not notify them. I tested this last night and was able to record a friend (she knew ahead of time) without it notifying her at the beginning or duration of the call.
Hello, I want to use this application in Turkey, but we cannot use it because it is not in the app store. I downloaded it from the US app store, but the application asks for an American phone number because it asks for a verification message, can you help with this? Thanks
Does it announces before start recording????
I purchased a new phone. And downloaded the Rev Call App to my new phone. But can’t retrieve my recorded calls. How can I retrieve them on the new phone. ? Thank you
that's an excellent question, I have never encountered that before. I am sure there is some sort of functionality there. I will be sure to check when I can.
@@AppAxis Ok thank you.
Mine does not have incoming or outgoing optionnin settings
If you make insurance sales calls.
Can you download the recording? If so, how?
TK Haskin yep, when you select SHARE, you can send the mp3 (and/or transcription) to whatever destination u wish; text, email, dropbox, social media.... great question, hope that helps!
The other party is on notice that you are recording the call. So not helpful if you're dealing with a hostile party.
You have the option to turn that off
Yeah, they recently added that.
@@melissa.moonbeam Thank you - assuming that it will be found in the settings section. If not, I'll let you all know.
How do I make automatically make it record incoming calls
Unfortunately REV has become LESS stealth over the years. 😞 Recently, I have reverted to plugging in my handheld recorder for important calls. Apps have increasing regulation to comply with.
How do you get the rev call recorder to stop announcing “this call is being recorded”
hmm... I didn't encounter that problem. That does seem like it would be annoying. I will have to try to reproduce that. Are you on an iPhone?
App Axis yes I’m on an iPhone, it wasn’t like that before, it just started a day ago. And yes it’s very very annoying
App Axis do you know how can i stop it
@@marlieb7570 probably related to the recent iOS upgrades. Some app developers have been late to update. I'm sure that REV.com Twitter profile is blowing up right now. lol!
Marlie B first try deleting and reinstalling. Im checking mine now.
In September 2021 is rev call recorder still free for call recording?
Yes, I just downloaded it yesterday and was able to record a call. I noticed two things though, it only gives me the option to record outgoing calls. I will have to test out if I can record a call when someone calls me. Also, make sure to select the Settings grid and unselect/disable the 2-Party Legal Disclosure, otherwise when you call someone and start recording, it will notify them "this call is being recorded".
@@Supastarr1976 how did you managed to record the both person's voices?
btw I don't have this app in Romania...
@@RealEyes24 The calls were separate, not at the same time. When you open the app, it shows a phone icon, just click that and enter in the phone number of the person you want to record. That's it!
Means i can record calls on iPhone free???? Is it true??
Navjot Singh yep work for me. Only recording is free tho, everything else you have to pay for
Very strange. Text contains 8% of information, but voice has about 30%.
rev call recorder registers only your voice it does not record any call between you or another person...if you are in a call with another person, it will not record your voice or the other person's voice, it will record nothing....
Cant insert slovakia number for verify
