Watch the full video here: DJI RS3 Gimbal How to Balance Vertical Mount
czcams.com/video/WNwBbFvBL5o/video.html
The RS3 Mini has a "vertical setup" built in. Just have to take the bottom arm off, slide the plate connection off, and attach it to the side arm.
Ohhhh I just got a gimbal and was struggling to keep it balanced but I just realized I never did the last part. Thanks for that!
Same!!
I use the RS3 but never did the vertical now I will be doing it
It's a necessary evil these days, Handy to get those vertical shots.
Is the vertical mount more convenient then just using vertical mode ?
Yes- You don't have to hold the gimbal like a flash light that way. Don't get me wrong, Portrait mode works absolutely fine though. If your shooting loads of Vertical stuff though, then it might be worth grabbing the mount.
Also, a big plus for me anyways. You can do more with the gimball like in horizontal. Rather than locked to one mode in vertical mode.
so much difficult!!!!!!
Ohhh shiiit - that's why i struggled mounting it vertically with the normal mount
you do this good ! Nice
Thanks
Nice 😊
How heavy a setup do you think the RS3 can handle in vertical mode? Debating between the RS3(not pro) or RS2.
Why is it so rigid when adjusting the arms?
Where do I put my raven eye when I have it mounted vertically
Any good advice how to use vertical mount with raven eye transmitter and a microphone mounted normally on a cold shoe?
Sir what cage is that that can be used with the ronin plate
What is the name of the one you have put separately? Please reply.
Hey can you share motor settings as mines micro vibrate
Does it work as good as when using dji rs3 mini in vertical?
Is the vertical mount sold separately?
Do you need a cage ?
To use the vertical mount, do I also have to get a cage for my camera to make this setup work? Or why do you also have a cage?
No need for the cage when using the mount. I only use mine for protection and mounting options when I go hand held. 🙂
I am unable to Balance Sony a7iv with Sigma 24-70mm 2.8 Lens using Vertical Mount. I feel camera became heavy because of Sigma lens. Gimbal I am using is RS3.
You use this vertical mount ??
I am going to buy DJI RS3 Combo, but thinking if it will offer the vertial mount?
No
which len are u using?
Sony F4 16 to 35mm
can't do it
Please 🙏 tell me how to lock the gimbal so it's not drifting
Not sure why you're having drifting issues. Are you in PF mode? double tap the trigger to get the gimbal aligned back to the center. that always helps too.
In any mode I choose the pan axis moves and when I lock it the gimbal says it is off balance and goes into sleep mode.
@@sjcproductionsandmedia Hmmm.. I not sure what you mean. You should only lock the gimbal when you're not using it. If you're having drift issues, it sounds like the gimbal is not balanced correctly or you need to calibrate the motors in the menu settings.
Does this fit on the rsc2?
yes
What’s the benefit of having cage on camera😅
Protection and being able to add peripherals like a top handle, sound pack, side handle and even an external monitor.
Step 1 instantly gives me No vibes
3 hours still can’t balance the bloody gimbal you need to slow down bro step by step
Try watching this. The same rules apply, but in this video, I'm not restricted to just one minute: czcams.com/video/WNwBbFvBL5o/video.html
Are they coming with DJI RS 4 ?
