actually i do have a question so in order for this to work do I have to download the FFMPEG DOWNLOAD after that I should be able to do the rest of the steps correct? I tried to do it without downloading the FFMPEG DOWNLOAD but it didnt work.

Ur gonna wanna do the editing first, export it at the original resolution, then upscale it to 4K. If for example ur footage is 1080 and u try and export it as 4K, it’ll pretty much just zoom out and the frame will be smaller and it won’t upscale. You’ll need to use an upscale tool like the one I used in the video and I’d recommend doing that with the final product, not the raw footage cuz if u upscale the raw footage and then start editing, it may lag ur editing software and just make editing more painful. So edit and export at the original resolution that u recorded the footage with and then upscale the finished edited video. (I hope that made sense lol)

lol, ive been re recording the whole mkv because i didnt know i could convert like that lmao. would re screen record 5 hours lmaooo

Yea just make sure u got enough space on ur hard drive cuz if u don’t u will only get the mkv file, then you’d have to re record it still or find a program that’ll properly convert it. It’s happened too many times to me lmao, I’ve just stuck to re recording cuz u can covert the file using vlc media player but the audio would desync and It felt like it degraded the quality
