  • Sony's Mobile ES Series car speakers deliver audiophile-grade sound quality at a reasonable price. They're high-res certified and are the result of a painstaking design process designed to eliminate distortion.
    Sony Mobile ES Series: www.crutchfield.com/i-rYTVc2N...
    The woofer cones use a lightweight yet rigid mica-reinforced cellular aramid fiber, which helps enhance low-frequency response and mid-range accuracy. The speakers can handle up to 75 watts RMS and an integrated air diffuser makes sure they don't get too hot even when you're cranking them for hours.
    The synthetic fabric dome tweeter plays up to 40,000 Hz, which although outside the range of human hearing nonetheless brings an extra layer of texture and detail to your favorite songs. Once you get outside the human hearing range it becomes more of an atmospheric change, and the ES Series tweeter is a true gem.
    The ES Series speakers are available in 2-way and 3-way designs, and are ready for high-powered amps. There is a matching subwoofer as well: www.crutchfield.com/i-rYTVc2N...

      @crutchfield  Před 2 lety +1

      Our research department did not find enough room in the stock mounting locations to take these speakers. If a custom work is done to make room for them, then it is best to install an aftermarket amp to power them. The reason is that the stock speakers have a lower impedance than these speakers. These speaker will pull less power than the stock speakers and at this level, that will produce a noticeably reduced volume level which will lead to an overall, lower sound quality.
