oh man... you weld worse than me. haha.
And FYI, the purpose of teflon tape isn't to fill gaps in the fittings, but to reduce friction so you can tighten the threads further than without. It's the threads that create the seal. Not the tape.

Should have left the handle on the top to pick it up and move it around or you could put caster wheels on the tubing frame underneath

I just did one on my own befor watching this vid. No door, probably a 3gal tank, and all i did was make a big hole in the front. My idea is to put charcoal in it and work it like that, do i need wool? Is propane better? Yesterday was my first day "forging" out of a wood furnace which didnt work out too well lol. I did get a "knife" out of it tho.

Propane isn't better, just faster and easier, but also costs more over a year.
If your coals aren't working how you want just look at increasing the air flow to get them burning hotter

Nice 69 Chevelle! I have a 69 with the same wheels. I think they are Centerline's made in the USA. I found your video while googling "propane forge from air compressor tank". I'm gonna try the same very soon with a slightly larger tank.

Get you a cross 4 way pipe and thread a 3/4” x 1/4” bushing into the back of the 4-way cross and then use a 1/4” street elbow FNPT x MNPT and tap the inside of the male end of your street elbow and thread in your log tip then it can screw into the bushing that screws into the cross then your fuel line or your on/ off valve and your all set. It may seem complicated but it’s a cross 4 way and 3/4 x 1/4 bushing and a 1/4” street elbow MNPT x FMPT. Thread your tip into the male end of the elbow

Made mine out of an airtank. Not nearly as pretty, but im having to try a different burner design that will allow for a better airflow. Was curious to see the best way to accompish this so i got a fan to induce, and parts to build 2 burners. Curious as to what your burner air intake is like.

When do we see the test fire?

    Where's the test fire etc??

Teflon tape, even the yellow, melts when heated. Then it enters the threads due to capillary action. After getting into the mixing area it clogs the orifice. "Where did that tape come from?", You'll ask. It'll be grey. I don't tape joints down stream from the gas feed needle valve as the gas will just come out of the orifice when the valve is opened and not build up pressure. Upstream of the valve, yellow tape FTW! Making America Great, one forge at a time.
