When I was younger, and my mom or her friends or such used to take us fishing, I always thought it was stupid not to have bait. Like, having a lure with just hooks on it, but no bait made absolutely no sense to me. My little kid brain was like "what are the fish going to eat" or "how will they know to bite it if it doesn't have food on it?".
I still oddly got that stigma today, even though I've clearly watched plenty of your vids and other peoples' vids showing you don't need bait, just a good lure LOL
But I also don't fish, because I'm bad at it and terribly impatient.

When you cook some of these things in the future, instead of adding salt, just use clean sea water. Cool dog to.

Smash saw old video of you doing crab cakes Yum⊠Tip after you bread them put them into the freezer for 15-20 min then repress them together ⊠keep very cold it immediately before cooking! This will keep them in patty form even if a bit overly wetâŠ. Once again, Yum!

Thanks for the great videos. I think the larger squid are a different species (Veined squid - Loligo forbesi) than the smaller ones (European squid - Loligo vulgaris). Have a look at the suckers on the two big tentacles when you catch another one - suckers near the middle are much bigger than those at the edge in European squid about the same size in Veined squid. Probably taste the same though!
