it's the youtube bit and location. probably always have a hard time getting techs. most worth a salt have moved to union companies for work stability, the rest of shops are helter-skelter mixed.
Especially having to film personal things that could possibly be solved by talking privately to your own guys to make them feel like they aren't being out on blast to the whole world to see....!!! Its like bitching out your employees in the middle of the store.... it makes your employees look bad but then makes you also look bad.....!!! Team up then come up with a solution and it makes everyone feel like a team and feel good about the job they have.....!!!

Maybe he was trying to save you from the trouble you're now going to have trying to take off that coil panel.
He wasn't angry He was frustrated. Has borderline personality disorder. Maybe some PTSD from a previous trauma. I'm not a doctor obviously but I've seen this a lot with people I've dealt with on the bus other employees and in my family. He has the correct ideas in his head but cannot express them If working with a partner he needs to work with someone who can read and react off what he's doing non verbally.

I’m 15 minutes into the video. Since it is being used as a training unit. Would it not be better to go behind the air handler and attach from the left side so that you can remove the door at any time during any training to easily show the inside? I always hate it when I come across an air handler that I can’t easily remove the panels because the pipes are going right across the front. Just wondering. And if you addressed this already before the end of the video my bad.
I would have said “That’s the way I want it, no joints, this is not a debate and that’s it.” You explained it very well and guys will see all the mistakes and think that is your quality standard. It has to be better than good. If he acts that way in front of you, I’m sure he has had customer complaints. I think you were professional plenty long enough. His first 90 shound have been the one that needed to be tight to the air handler, then cut down keeping it close to the door to determine the distance to the next bend. Sure, it takes some practice but it's not rocket science.
