as the commentator said, he just generates effortless power. it's enough for him to be aggressive and not enough for him for him to lose control. such consistency. I think when people will start beating him, the level of tennis overall will increase. He's a legend.
More variety on his shots, improve his first serves, work on his upper body to generate more power, put more weight on his racket even. But I think that him becoming top 10 is his limit, he just isn't able to consistently beat the top guys.
@@dachochiyo3992 Wow, what an expert opinion from the couch coach! Why don't do step up on the court and show us how it's done, champ? Yapping your mouth is easy.
Diego needs more *POWER* in his game, that is not a direct result of his height, but simply lacking a good physical trainer. In plain words: he needs to BULK up to counter those heavy hits from Djokovic. Although his height is a hindrance for the "free serves" that is an established fact.
@@ABC-ABC1234 He doesn't. He has more power in his shots than some other grinders out there. He is a fundamentally sound *ball* *striker* on both his wings on groundstrokes. The thing that holds him back is a better 2nd serve and a better return of serve.
Height plays a big role in tennis.. Schwartzman is the smallest professional tennis player except ferrer who’s 5’8.. tennis is just like basketball you can’t beat the tallest man you just can’t.. it is what it is
Farid Damasio ya I saw those and they just gassed out.. there not even top tier players.. I’m talking Federer Nadal and Djokovic or just the top 5 alone.. what I mean is he’ll never be a top 5 player just won’t happen theres so many disadvantages but I find it amazing he’s even a professional.. i really do
@@genesisnkaidence8519 "Can't" is a big word used by uncertain people who want to feel certainty. Diego needs to improve his serve tremendously to be a top 5 player, but if he did that he would have a chance. He is a unique talent, and doesn't seem to have an inferiority complex which is huge

The level of tennis overall stand till now.

Novak was just toying with Diego from the start
Not really.
1:13 only 156km? Thats really slow for a first serve, is it because of his height or its just the technique?
What does Schwartzman need to improve on?
his height
Do not play like Ferrer against djok. He need more weapons

Djokovic.

His return of serve is weak- and he doesn't play aggressively enough (defensive mindset).
You're talking out of your ass, Diego is one of the fittest and strongest players for his size.
P.S. More bulk equals less movement and agility. Something shorter players need in spades.
@@Editor_Hound Keep dreaming, he clearly lacks power in his strokes...

Farid Damasio it’s not his serve it’s just his height he can’t produce that much pop or power he’s too damn small..
Ehh, it’s debatable. At some point the disadvantages of height outweighs the advantages. That’s why Federer, Nadal and Djokovich are close in height.
Novak always toys with Argentine players because he knows they are too easy to win effortless. Nadal and Federer toy with them as well.
Attorney at law - UMSA how about Del Potro?
why picking on argentine players?
I seem to recall an Argentine player beating him so nasty, it made Djokovic cry like a bitch. Perhaps you should remember him.
