The older generation was definitely built alot tougher they endured things we can't even imagine and came out smiling where as our generation would need therapy. They were a much more hearty breed
Thank you to everyone everyone for your support xxx
Love you all so much xxx thanks for thr kind comments ❤️ regarding me nan xxx
This is truly a great explore Dave. May your Nan rest in peace. My Grandma raised me and I lost her when I was young but I remember her like it was yesterday. I enjoy your narration as you go through these abandoned walls and see what they left. I bet some of the furniture would look brand new when polished up. How amazing to see. You have a great day and stay safe
Dave
Just to say first my condolences to you and your family Your nan seemed like a wonderful person May she rest in peace The manchin was a true time capsule Seeing it brings back memories of my family home I truly appreciate the way things were back then Saving the things of someone you loved When you start to get older sometimes all you might have is a few things to remind you of them And the memories that you can look back on You did a wonderful job again remembering and talking about the family that lived there It made me feel like i was really there with you Amazing just amazing lots of love bro

A lot of people spell the word the way it sounds depends on where they live and how it's spelled.
That looks like a master bed room up stairs the way it goes to the extra room
I am so sorry for your loss! Thank you for sharing these amazing abandoned locations, too. Keep up the great work!
My condolences, Dave! A Nan is always the best. Thanks for the wonderful tour, mate. It was a beauty.
The ceiling at 5:22 is so insane I love it. This is my favorite style of house. With all the super high ceilings and thick walls and mid-century wood furniture. And cars, too! Awesome, man, thanks! I love that kitchen too, with the big fireplace and the couch in it...take care!
I'm 1/2 way thru - really great explore! I think the furniture & lighting looks like mid-century modern! I love your explores the most bc you get your audience to really feel like they're walking in the footsteps of the last people who lived there so long ago! Good stuff! You're so good at the art of storytelling ❤️
Awesome! Thank you!
Yay! Saturday just got better! Love you loads Dave!
I don't understand why countries leave the homes just to rot away
Sad. Thanks Dave for the tour. Love to all be safe.
Hi Marky! Miss yoy!
Family disputes and governments in Italy make it hard to get inheritances, so the stuff just rots away like in the video.
Dave, lemme give you a hug... sorry for the loss of your nan. Still love you.
what an amazing place. if you close your eyes to the decay and mess, you can picture what this gorgeous home would have looked like. its enormous. thank you for showing us this Italian mansion. stay safe yourself
Sorry for your loss . Nans are always so sweet & caring and I know yours was also. RIP Nan
Dave, this place is huge and the stories this place must hold. I love the bedroom furniture it's so beautiful even in the state it is now can you imagine what it must have been like and the care you take telling the story of these people lives. I feel as if I was right there with you as we walk through the rooms and property. Thank you again for inviting us along. I love the photo's you shared of your nan at the end the you, I'm so sorry for your loss, take care.
Хорошие,добротные дома,как жалко что всё брошенно.Спасибо ребятачто показываете старину,жизнь других людей,застывшую историю.Благодарю за вашу работу!
It's so beautiful and sad at the same time 😭🪦🪦 😭 rest in peace beautiful family
Those ceilings are amazing I think it’s so sad when you see people’s clothes still hanging in the wardrobes, how I envy you Dave visiting these stunning places xx
Some relatives moved to New York. Maybe they all moved to New York. And just decided to leave the place. You can’t hardly take the building with you
I am sending my condolences to you and all your family for the loss of someone special ❤️.
I wanted to add how I love watching all your videos. I love how you respect these once loved homes. Your voice as you describe every detail gets me lost on a wonderful story.....Thankyou for sharing with us ❤️
Oh what a grand place, the ceilings alone get me excited, when can I move in lol, so much left behind. Can you imagine all the love and good times here, at least that's the vibe I get. I know when my mom passed I closed the door to here room and did go in for along while, it was very difficult.Your beautiful Nan, again so sorry for your loss , sending prayers to you and family . The pain , heartache and emptiness one feels don't go away it just gets a little easier with time, hold her your heart and she'll always be with you. 😢😢❤️✌️🌹🌹🌹🌹
Hello Dave first of all I'd like to say I am sorry about your lost another beautiful home going to waste thank you for taking us along it's such a shame that it won't be lived in no more till next time stay safe take care love from upstate New York
What a great find Dave! I love those beautiful arched ceilings, and the bed in that last bedroom. You really have so much passion for your work and always show so much respect to each place you explore...never change xx I bet you were so excited when you saw the cars 😁 Another great explore Dave, thank you 🙂☘️
Sorry to hear the sad news about your Nan
I understand as I was close to my Nan.
That was another great explore
The house was beautiful from the beginning.
Dave, I always look for your videos and today I am kind of laid up with my old hip giving me a hard time. So I am so happy to be able to watch you and your adventures. Love you loads and please stay safe. Thank you again.
This is one of my all time favorites! Its beauty is speechless and it reminds me of being able to walk through time periods. Old characteristics of the architecture that are the structure and bones, framed so much character when the home was built. I was amazed by the furniture styles. It looked quite modern for the late 70's - 80's with the rounded corners and waves, even the living room set. The ceilings in Italy are always magnificent but this place just really captured my eyes. The bedroom was so beautiful! And the sweet baby items - I loved the high chair but I bet it was a beast to clean. I've always loved prams but they had moved on to strollers in the United States and at least in the Southern part I never really saw one until I was preparing to have my son in 2007 when I specifically looked for one. I could continue to go on but the materials used marble and stone, luxurious thick wood, was magnificent. And then it was like a time warp into the other side. Equally stunning, the bed was interesting but how could someone sleep with all that going on! The clothes, I loved seeing and shoes and cosmetics - a way of life I'm familiar with. My teens were in the 90's. The design ceilings were again striking and so bold but you could still see the main structures bones there. I loved it. Grandma's cottage touched my heart. I know it is a common thing when the heir takes over for the parents to give up the main home if they wish. But you can tell there was love between the whole family! A beautiful family generation, the farm and apartments and the magnificent mansion - it was a fantastic, beautiful video. You are naughty playing tricks on those boys - lol. And generally I drive a small car, BMW is a favorite for me (looks like I already parked it) Fiat is one I've never owned. The soft top is intriguing but I'd probably still go with the BMW. Oh, I watched this on our VR set. It was wild seeing like at the movie theater. I am sorry for the loss of your Nan. There are special bonds that will never be broken. My deepest sympathy and prayers to you and your family. I believe we'll see our loved ones again one day in Heaven. God Bless. You all take care, stay safe! xoxo 💞 Kat
Gennaio is the month of January but love the home and love how respectful you are to these people's property
Hello Dave, at 26:22 I caught an EVP that was a male voice saying " the window".
I will keep watching to see if I hear any more
Great job on your channel.
Loads of love for your nan and for you Dave! im so very sorry she passed, my heart goes out to you !
my ex mother in law is from Italy and we are still amazing friends, from what shes said the families would all live together, like certain families would be given certain parts of the home to live in, thats why alot have 3 or 4 kitchens and such, each wanted their privacy but wanted to be close to the family to help out.
i love learning what different countries call things lol
the cot you called it there here in the us would be a playpen lol
i just love the old furniture so much, so well built with love not like the shoddy plastic or fabricated board we have now, it was truely built to last and you can see it did last and is still standing, things you bought these days has already broke or fell apart lol
much love Dave
So sorry for your loss ,we all love our gran.😍😍
I’m so so sorry for your loss Dave I’m sure you must miss her so much. I really enjoyed seeing this stunning place I really do walk with you. As a side note you mentioned the secret garden film, my daughter was in it lol. Only a tiny bit at the start she was 5 😂😂
I❤ theses abandoned homes it's amazing how much stuff and memories are left behind 😢 ❤to you and those left behind
This was a good one, Dave. The two Grandma/Grandpa rooms were so fascinating. Well done. Sorry for your loss, Dave. Peace be with you and your family.
It truly must be magical to walk in the footsteps of the people that lived there. i imagine you can almost feel their presence , their essence, in all their possessions, their homes. i feel it's such a privilege, a tribute, to their life. Sometimes, I almost get the feeling that they are with you, in spirit, experiencing a part of what was........oh, well. I just love these explorations...May they all rest in heavenly peace.
People forget that being aristocratic does not have all the great trappings of success. Tragedy happens all over varying human populations, wealth and status secondary to happiness
There are quite a few ex-millionaires on skid row I believe.Rich one day poor the next!!
Not necessarily... people can be happy with wealth if it's earned honestly but if someone is involved in crime then yes God's not going to let anyone continue to live that kind of life without repercussions. You do the crime you pay the time in one way or another. 👍🙂
So sorry for your sad loss, may she rest in peace, God Bless 🙏
I can watch your videos over and over and never get bored. Love your sense of humor and wonder. I miss Markey sometimes too. Stay safely and LOVE YOU Loads!
I can relate about losing a close relative. My sister was my best friend, she raised me and was always there for me. As I was for her. One of the last things she said to me was that I was her best friend!! Life just hasn't been the same without her!!!! Sorry for your loss! My heart goes out to you! Take care, I so much enjoy and look forward to your explorations!😊❤

Ps: Sorry for your loss
I loved the old cars, they looked so small, shame that people r stealing parts off them.
I am so sorry for your loss but she is looking down over you and is proud of everything you do!
So sorry to hear about the loss of your grandmother. Those small wooden framed in objects are runners sleds. They’re antique and they can also be for small children to sit on top of as they’re going down a slope of snow. I’m not sure if you know what I’m talking about but it is in this clip that you shared with us and there were several of them stacked, so anyway, there’s your answer I hope for your pain to pass quickly, so you may rest your head with not such a heavy heart. God bless.
Must have been a beautiful home, years ago Dave.😍😎

Fascinating explore, it really shows the difference between how things were made back then, everything looks crafted, engineered with an aesthetic, made with practicality in mind.

Another awesome explore, thank you for sharing. Dave you are such a kind and respectful man and this truly shows in your explorations.
