Stress causes cortisol to produce which leads to weight gain in the tummy. I was so stressed for a couple of years and it destroyed my body. When I’d lose weight all the fat in the right curves would disappear and the belly fat would remain. Advice, don’t get into a toxic relationship.

I agree! I started doing it again the last few months since I gained a few lbs over the summer. I was 125lbs after summer and I'm down to 115lbs now and feel a lot better! I haven't changed my diet at all, besides just eating within a certain time frame. I will usually have breakfast between 1pm/2pm and then I stop eating at around 8pm/9pm. I could do better but I don't need to lose a lot of weight, so I'm not rushing! 💕💕💕

Same here! But still working on the belly fat, I bloat a lot less though.
It seems my body likes this healthier habit way better. I do a sort of intermittent fast but I’m not strict like the way some people are (I eat at 10am stop eating after 7-8 hrs). I use to think intermittent fasting meant you ate all day 😂. Plus I eat healthy and exercise. I use to fast but I found it was lazy and i would gain the weight back after 2 weeks, then I would bloat. i came to conclusion that the body needs to work out and change bad diet habits (even though I ate healthier than most people).Seems like this is a lifestyle change for me as well.
I lost 10 lbs, which was my goal weight, I prob shouldn’t lose anymore (but belly is so difficult to lose). I also didn’t rush my weight loss, it was slow as I didn’t want a my weight to go back and forth and eventually give up (like other times), I’m able to maintain the weight 9 months later. I’m the weight I use to be 20 yrs ago but way stronger! But it’s not only about weight for me, it’s about being healthier and getting stronger. Best of luck!

And by suddenly, I'm sure there were subtle signs over the years, but I first started bloating after ice cream. Then milk. Then milk products. I gave up milk and ice cream and most milk products (I still have a bit of cheese every once and awhile) and reduced my bloated to almost none. Amazing! Skin became clearer too. I don’t think using lotion helped a whole lot but I can tell you that drinking a lot of water every day has helped.

So... if you have subcutaneous belly fat, sculpting is the only non-surgery way to get rid of it? ...Are there any specific things to eat or not eat, or any specific exercises that would help with it?

    • @LetMeSayThis

@Beatrice sport does not fix *loose skin*. Only if you can grow muscle as much as you lost fat but other than that only surgery can remove extra skin.

@@veronicaaguilera3254 Most experts suggest Intermittent Fasting - and reducing carbs as much as possible, as they are the culprits.
Every time I can go 24 hrs or longer without eating - I notice any abdominal discomfort I have had - greatly improves or disappears.
I just got off a 50 hr FAST ... and I feel great. No abdominal bloating or discomfort. Fasting for longer periods leads to your body consuming all the available carbs - and then resorting to using one's own fat for energy - which is what it was designed to do. Your body also goes into "autophagy" after 24+ hrs of fasting - a condition in which your body's own cells start getting rid of any harmful or damaged cells.
This is one of the many reasons so many health experts support IF and overall fasting - for most people - because it has so many benefits.

I wish you would have included that only 1.5% of the population is gluten intolerant and/or allergic and people should see a doctor if they suspect they have a problem with gluten.
Everytime someone has told me (a Celiac) they can't eat gluten because they get "sick" it's been because when they eat a lot of foods containing gluten they get bloated. Obviously gluten and not the amount of food or carbohydrates being broken down and feeding gas-producing bacteria in the gut.
It gets pretty irritating when people are actively trying to have a medical condition you have.

Intermittent fasting is good however if you are strength or weight training, completely different. Nutritional needs change. So after your bloat goes down and you lose fat, AND want to build muscle, increase carbs to protein 35% each with healthy fat as 30% before work put hit the carbs and after protein loss.
