See this is what I was thinking but make it more of a witchdoctor but I like the shifter idea for race

Druid/Warlock was a hard Multiclass to try and MinMax, lol.
Plenty of flavor potential though. The Witch doctor angle could be a fun concept to explore.

I don't like builds at 20th-level. Few people reach it.
I saw a human druid/warlock in a 5e, adventure league game. It was dramatically interesting, but in a combat-heavy adventures, it go weak quickly. He did druid/2 (moon) and then warlock/x (fey, blade) using an invocation to allow him to use bows as a pact weapon. At low levels and in non-combat situations, wildshape was useful. The ability to use druid spell slots to feed hex or warlock slots of short-rest cast heals or goodberry was always good. The build actually didn't need a high wisdom or charisma as most spells weren't attacks or saves due to the bow and wildshape. The character was flexible, but past 7th level, the druid levels started to become dead weight.
For a home campaign only going to maybe 10th-level, it's a fun combo.

Yeah, it is rare for a campaign to reach Level 20, from what I've heard. 10th Level seems to be the average.
This Multiclass Build is probably one of the weakest. The Warden is definitely geared more towards a story focused session than a combat heavy one.

@@Drahjan_BeginDownload It depends on the context. In AL, it wouldn't great by 5th. However, lots of normally 'weak' builds are actually fairly powerful in a lot of campaigns which many players run. If you are only playing to say 10th (common) then you won't necessarily miss out on many high-level features. In a home campaign, combat encounters tends to get scaled down for your party. Finally, if you have a small party 1-3 PCs, the flexibility, low-level survivability, and utility of a build like this can be more powerful.
If you are in a solo campaign, I can't imagine too many other starting classes which wouldn't get you in trouble. Wildshape is a huge for covering stealth, infiltration, spying, etc. at most levels. It can easily keep you alive at low levels. Likewise, a good ranged ability, the ability to short-rest buff (Armor of Agathys), and to short-rest heal over and over is probably better than any other ability I might get before 5th or so. Getting a solo wizard, fighter, rogue, etc. to 5th would probably be harder. Bard or pure druid... maybe, but often your warder would be "strong" in a campaign with a smaller number of PCs.

@@BW022 I have to agree. It is very dependent on the size of the party, as well as being GM/setting dependent.
You can definitely have a more stable build when you are working with other players. This build is definitely made more for that party synergy. A character that works as a distraction, you could say.

I was thinking land druid with fey warlock, and maybe alchemest artificer, to make a Celtic witch.

Very thematic. Wouldn't mind seeing how one of those would play out.

Came here thinking the same thing. I actually rolled pretty well, so I think I'll be able to have high charisma and high wisdom.

@@Drahjan_BeginDownload Thanks, we are doing the Wild Beyond the Witchlight campaign. I'm gonna stick with Archfey Warlock because it only goes to level 8. If it went further, I'd look at multiclassing into Druid.

I just want to mix eldritch invocations with wildshape, or do something lije turn into a lizard and send a blast with the mouth, or turn into a black cat in the middle of magic darkness with devil sight.

I think it'll be cool or their is a class that uses puppets to do the fighting for by long distance controlling it with magic or string
Or maybe a duelist that specialist with 1v1s with honor and stuff also good video and concept

    • @Drahjan_BeginDownload
      @Drahjan_BeginDownload  Před rokem

LOL, that was my original idea for this build. Use Nature as a tool while staying hidden; waiting for your prey to be weak enough to not be able to fight back.
You can actually see a little bit of this concept in the Spell List section at the end. All the good summoning spells that can bring 8 creatures out in a single casting as well as spells and abilities that keep you out of the fight *and* out of sight.
Actually the honorable duelist is a concept that is coming up at some point. The Paladin/Bard (a Valordin, if you will).

I have a character concept for a superhero who controlls the electromagnetic force, and I'm building him in Pathfinder 2E.
    ...
His powers include lightning-bending, magnitising or demagnitising metal, ferrokenesiss, increasing or reducing tematures and light levels, and creating visual illusions via photon-bending (including invisibility and disguises.)
    ...
However, illusions are limited to visual only, and maintaining a complex one requires much concentration.
