    New format to show the different gear used in Texas feral hog control. in this video we will be using the Pulsar XP50 Thermion, REPR MKII, Wolf 140gr soft points.
    This is a educational video for farmers, ranchers, pest control operations dealing with invasive feral hogs. NO FIREARM, OR AMMUNITION SALES.

      Yes, but how about covering the budget end of the market for once. I know a fair few guys that like to shoot hog but none of them have 5k scopes..

      C S I don’t have 5k scopes and I still hunt all the time at night. Elusive wildlife green lights have worked great for me!

      If I shot as many hogs as Todd I would be shooting the cheap stuff to try and save a little money also! He's not trophy hunting he's eradicating at a really high volume.

      Tbh, I get a little sick of all these hog channels running top of the line rigs. Use something budget for a change and I'm not talking ammo...

I hog hunt in TX as often as I can manage it and can say without a doubt, I learned most of what I know now from you. In fact, I credit most of any success at feral hog hunting to your generously provided instruction and reviews.This latest video, a combination of product review combined with hunting video is so helpful.     Great video. I would suggest using your 6.5 Grendel rifle with the Sightmark Photon RT that you tested last year. I'm coming to Texas in February with this set up and I'd love to see it in action one more time. 👍

    I seen lots of Russian soft point act like regular fmj. Not mushrooming at all. Barnel and sellier & bellot from Czech Republic works good.

    7.62x39 with red army standard. oss suppressor and thermion 38. ultimate budget gun. dont really care what can. Thats what id like to see!

    I do like this series of videos. There is so many options and so many budgets out there and hunters who can not get out there as often as you can. This is a good way to let us know what works/what kind of works/what doesn’t work. 5.56 XM855, how does it do? It’s very very cheap and seems the steel core and yaw would be effective. I know a 308 would be better, but there are a lot of AR15s out there.

    Great video as usual Todd. Should put a best of the best combo together. .308 with 185gr bondstrike ,which finally got my hands on some by the way, and ReapIR 60mm gen2. No need to rate that combo I guess. On video nothing came close to the lethality of those bondstrikes. Maybe it was just that video you obviously were there. But they sure seem impressive. Also Todd check out Acadianarmament.com. They have make very good high quality suppressors right in your backyard in Louisiana.

    I just bought a Adams Arms piston 16inch for pig hunting. Can I use any hunting round in there as I noticed you used soft points? I thought one could only use FMJs or hard points in ARs for reliable feeds?

    Just FYI Silencer Shop is pretty out of stock on rifle suppressors. I knew I should have ordered that Trash Panda a few days ago when I got the email it was back in stock. Sold out quick.
