SlipperyJimmy Moon Gundam is nice but I kinda considered it as a RG, the details and colours and price was way beyond a Normal HG. Plus I don’t have it so I can’t say it. Beyond Global Rx78 is nice tho, but I don’t like the redesign of the Graddaddy.
My favorite : 1. Moon gundam, no stickers, color is awesome, the articulation is awesome, and good gimmicks, the only minus for me is the price, it's almost twice the price of normal hg because it's a premium bandai 2. Earthree gundam, nice gimmick and the articulation is good enough
the moon gundam is actually not a p-bandai kit (the varguil is), and while it is expensive for an hg, you do get an action base 5 included so it's not really a big minus IMO
Good choices all around. As a builder, I have two kinds of kits I build from time to time. Custom builds and straight builds just to get that fast instant gratification because the custom works take a long time. So these choices of your are perfect for the straight builds and you dont have to stress so much about anime accurate colors.

I have a bunch of kits, all of them HG and three RG, and the quality of some is amazing and they look outstanding out of the box, polished, pannel lined and coated, but others... need a bunch of horrible stickers, have awful color separation or plastic finish, and need to be painted or really changed to look decent; not to talk about seamlines and haing to glue with Mr Cement and such (thinks I do, but I'd rather not...). That's why lists such as yours are so helpful.
My top Five HG kits have to be: HGUC Dendrobium (yes the massive one i own it) HG Meteor Unit + Freedom Gundam (Dont own it yet but will be getting it soon) HGUC Penelope and Xi Gundam (I own both) HGUC Psycho Gundam (Almost as big as my PG GP-01!) I like the HG kits that are so massive they tower over MG kits
Lemme just say ALL TR-1 to TR-6 AoZ kits and the many TTT variants that can be made, for my money makes them head and shoulders above almost everything. It's all modular. With ease you can make many awesom MS that are UC canon, but you can't buy them. Where else are you gonna find that ability? I'm currently building a TR-6 Hizack 2 and once I pick up a Messala, I'm going to have a TR-1 that FEW people have. That Galbaldy Beta is a really nice kit. We need a High Mobility TTT version already.
I too am rather lazy and I have yet to dive into painting so I can appreciate good color separation out of the box. Especially since I do prefer the size of HG’s over MG’s so that’s what I mainly build. I also definitely agree with the HGCE options. Everything I’ve built from that line has impressed me for high grades. Sure they lack some detail on the armor, but that doesn’t bother me much. They definitely improved over the original HG seed kits a ton.
Destiny ✅ Infinite Justic✅ Try Burning, I got the one with the sword but close enough Sandrock, I have the kit but didn’t build it yet But my overall favorite HG kits are mostly the IBO line, they’re not perfect and they can share the same flaws, but I love the unique designs like the Barbatos (Lupus Rex), Gusion (Rebake Full City) and the Flauros My Best HG I own is the Xi Gundam. It’s big, a simple and enjoyable build, yet pricey

@@zethythonix The pictures of the thing you're talking about that you put on the screen. General rule of thumb is 5 seconds minimum unless you're doing a quick montage or joke. If you're actually trying to inform the viewer you need to leave it up long enough for someone to look at it and process what they're looking at.
If you're not a fan of the oversized arms and feet, replacing said parts with those from the barbatos lupus actually makes for a "more proportionate" lupus rex... kind of a warrior mode IMO

Eh, old Ground Type is actually not that far behind from the Revive, I'm almost certain that even the weapons rack with the 180mm cannon is taken from the old kit, wich could also do the kneeling shooting pose

It's very hard to decide... but for pure new mold, I will go with Pixie. For a lot of accessories and never getting tired of trying different weapon combos, I will go for the Parachute Pack. Which one you prefer?

IMO you should go with the Barbatos Lupus. It's the best IBO HG out of the box. Only problem though is that you only get a single weapon unless you buy the IBO option set 5 You can also try the grimgerde if you're into non-grunt and/or non-gundam type, another one of the best HG IBO kits out of the box

My top three hg gunpla is First, Astaroth origin, for god sake this kit really deserve a name of Duke of hell Astaroth. All accessory can be put on, articulation is good(not perfect but also not bad), and the red colour is look perfect on him. The only down side of this kiddo is a big gray sticker that can be erased by some easy painting cause it was on flat place and simple colour. Next the second is, Atlas. The gunpla that give you a freedom of pose with a crazy Articulation. A good accessory, a cool look,, and the last is crazy Articulation. Really... Want a freedom to pose your gunpla? This is what you are looking for. The only down side of this guys is a hell correcting sticker, but look even without it he already look great. And next the third gunpla I like is, moon Gundam..... Really this doesnt look like hg level at all. A good Articulation, a good detail, a cool look, and top at all perfect colour separation with no sticker on it. Really... The only downside of this guy is only coming from his bulky armor that come from it original design. So no problem at all if you asking me.
Yes, but the whole inner frame is PS plastic. Which means that the wings will have risk because soft plastic cannot hold heavy wings and you might broke the joint when you playing with the wings. Just be careful, and I don't recommend you to play with it frequently.

I don't own it but the Moon Gundam HG looks amazing. My top 3 would probably be...(not normal) 3. Grimgerde (IBO) 2. Conroy's ECOAS Jegan. 1. TR-6 Gundam waifu [woundwort] Why oh why is there not a Hyakushiki kai H.G.
I had to disagree with the Jegan, poor color separation, joints were outdated and only bending 90 degrees. Everything else is fine. Hyaku Shiki Kai... we got MG that was around 250 AUD XD
@@zethythonix You are right about the Jegan of course, but as a painter colour seperaton doesn't bother me so much. I also own every HG jegan (I may have a problem), so I am a bit biased. They did try to improve the hips in the newer blast master, but they got loose much faster, and didn't really improve it much. Short of a total redesign not much they can do. I don't think that will happen soon, because we need more Unicorn and Astray variants first, haha.
In terms of look and accessories, yes. HG Leo biggest flaw is the balljoint connection between the torso and waist part, very loose and not very well designed for posing. The legs were soft as well, sometimes it will gave you a tough time to make your pose more natural. If you don't often play with it, it's fine.
Too much stickers, required inner frame repaint to look good. Opposite of the HGCE Destiny Gundam, the Strike Freedom Wings of Light is another Deluxe Premium Bandai version that costed like around 140 AUD exclude shipping. It's still good, but required more work than the 10 gunplas that I mentioned.
@@fidzhamsyafiq8532 Not happening, Bandai create moulds from three categories: universal runners (so they can easily reuse and make more PB), how many variation there were (example: Jegan), and lastly, how popular that MS is. Even the Seed series fit the universal and popular part, there weren't enough variation for them to use a new mould and make a lot of PB

I've only built 13 gundams and the HG Ground type is definitely top 3 for me. Looks so good in a kneeling position with it's big gun setup.

@@fidzhamsyafiq8532 Not happening, Bandai create moulds from three categories: universal runners (so they can easily reuse and make more PB), how many variation there were (example: Jegan), and lastly, how popular that MS is.
Even the Seed series fit the universal and popular part, there weren't enough variation for them to use a new mould and make a lot of PB
