  • After a number of aspiring PRMC candidates asked me to elaborate on what to eat when training for the Royal Marines, I put together this quick video on eating while preparing for a PRMC.
If you are training for the PRMC, POC or another military force my Pass The PRMC ebook (www.seanlerwill.com/shop/pass-...) may be of interest. It's a 26,000 word ebook with all my tips of how to train and pass the course as well as what to expect when on the course.

Just passed my PRMC last week!! Eating correctly is key!!!! We had a few lads passing out after the hare and hounds on the run back to camp due to not eating enough after the bottom field!

Thanks for the video! I've been following a very low carb diet for the past year to try and keep lean. However, I'm starting recruit training next week and I'm just wondering how fast I'll start to put the weight back on (I'm prone to gaining weight easily) and wether it will effect my push-ups, pull-ups and sit-ups? I really appreciate your videos and advice. Thanks

+andicon98 it's all about energy in and energy out. If you start eating a lot of extra food but aren't training you'll gain bodyfat. If you eat extra food but are training it will go on as muscle. Way too much while training and you'll gain muscle and then fat as well. Perhaps using a Calorie tracker like MyFitnessPal may help you. One thing I would advise is not to be too scared of carbs. You need them to train and recover so start reintroducing.

Highly recommend a vegan diet. Smash the calories in but get loads of fruit and veg and lots of carbs such as oats, rice, wheat, pasta.
The royal marines also support vegan diets and the food is amazing
