Filipino Creamy EGG PIE [Soft Pie Crust] | Ang Sarap Grabe

  • CORRECTION : sa 00:21 po ay nasabi kong 1 cup ito at binawasan ko lang ng 3 tablespoon.. Itong clip po ay para iinsert ko sa FILLING na procedure. Hence, yung na sa below ingredients for CRUST or FILLING are the correct one. Maraming salamat po.
    Ingredients for CRUST
    1 1/2 cup plain flour
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon sugar
    1/2 cup cold diced butter
    1/4 cup cold water
    *keep in the ref while making the filling
    Ingredients for FILLING
    1 CAN (379 g) evaporated milk
    1 cup minus 3 tablespoon sugar
    4 eggs
    1 egg yolk
    1 teaspoon vanilla essence
    Sift 2x
    for TOPPING to filling
    1 egg white beat to soft peak
    notes;
    1. Used 9 inches in diameter of pie pan
    2. Roll the dough 11 inches round (before putting for pie pan)
    3. Should have 1 centimeter extra from the edge of pan
    4. Poke the dough with fork (in the pie pan) before adding the egg filling
    BAKE in preheated oven 180C for 15 mins then turn to 160C set again your timer 45 minutes

    I made this yesterday and finally nkahanap din ako swakto recipe ng eggpie dami ko sinubukan pero katulad po ng sinabi mo ang titigas ng crust.dito tlga natuwa ako kc may nanalo na try to do it again perfecto 😋

    natry ko to ang sarap ng recipe. mas masarap to kesa sa ibang nasa yt.
    ung crust medjo maalat for me, so try ko 1/4tsp next time. tapos nagdagdag ako konti ng water sa crust super dry po kc nung sakin. ung filling Perfect😍 as in sobrang sarap. ay ung baking time po na 45min/160c under bake po sya. kaya pag gawa ako gawin ko 50min. pero recommended ko po tong recipe sa mga kagaya kong adik sa eggpie😍😋

      Hi angelo i understood thats might because of the oven temperature.. preheat mo muna ng 10 minutes then bake mo ng 2 sets.. nakalagay sa description box ang temperature
