Fallout: New Vegas is a action role-playing game set in the Mojave Desert, years after a nuclear war left much of the United States decimated. The player controls a courier who survived an assassination attempt from an unknown assailant. The goal of the game is to complete a series of quests to find the assailant, which eventually culminates in a war between different governing factions vying for control of the Mojave Desert.

Since you succeeded at getting rid of the Nightkin at the rocket facility I'ma spoiler you: Davison turned hostile because you killed the Nightkin in the basement. I think you might be able to get away with killing one and still get a peaceful resolution, but ideally you want to stealth your way through the whole site - pickpocket the jail key from the jailor and find Harland's ghoulfriend to get him to leave and then return to Davison. Nobody dies. One thing you might have noticed about New Vegas, the quests are not "cut n dried" - there are a wide variety of options available to you to progress a quest that aren't spelled out, it can be tricky if you aren't careful how you approach a quest objective. The game is very rewarding if you choose "unorthodox" character builds that don't rely solely on "shoot to kill, ask questions later".
There's a line where davison mentions that the other nightkin are insane and will kill you on sight regardless of what he says
Yet once you finish the diplomacy route with Davison, all of the nightkin mosey on out of the basement peacefully. Guess the disappointment of no stealthboys was just that much of a downer to them.
You picked up a sweet revolver while grabbing the rocket souvenirs, it's called "That Gun" :)
In New Vegas there are few more locations with horror atmosphere like here, so you have something fun to look to. I wont spoil it so enjoy exploring.
Love this playthrough man keep it up. Whatever is going on behind the scenes, i hope it's not affecting you in any negative way. Gotta take breaks sometimes to reset, we'll still be watching.

Was waiting on part 4! Favorite playthrough of New Vegas I've seen.
You can get permanent room with chest and bed in Novac, it is vital for hoarders, just ask lady that runs hotel.
Duck tape + scrap metal(x2) + scrap electronics + wonderglue + wrench = repair kit
Saves you lot of money on repairs, especially on expensive guns, more expensive the gun more it cost to repair so craft some and save them for your luxury weapons or emergency situations.

Yeah so Davison got mad at you for killing more than one nightkin and assumes you are there to kill them too there is no talking Davison down at that point and your only option is to kill them. It's ok though nightkin are kinda loco so not the worst outcome if you ever do revisit this game the way to do it is sneak past all of the nightkin and only kill the jailor for the key.
