Unlike other mainstream media outlets, Spiced FM has refused to be drawn to the personality politics engineered deftly to distract the country away from the finance bill conversation. A breath of fresh air in the country.
When empathy is thrown out the windows, it's the commoners who are feeling the greatest pain.
I truly appreciate such conversations
Thanks for always making sure we're up-to-date with information
While i commend the efforts of Kenyan youths to fight for their survival, I like to recommend the following going forward. President Ruto and all political officers should take a 50% pay cut, Ruto should fly commercial economy class , Ruto must take responsibility for avoidable killings of Kenyans, legislators should seat on part time basis in order to reduce cost of governance and save money to do other things.
I dnt miss to listen every morning, very informative sessions 😊
Currently the government is unable to pay pensioners . so whats the point of contributing for pension that you will never get . Its just a con .
Please go back to your books understand policies around pension and what changed
Uda, a branch of KANU.
What with replica ways of keeping GoK afloat at the expense of the Citizenry.
24:31 Yes! Finally someone says it. We need to change the constitution to actualize some changes
I think people cried even before this years budget. Its just being made the current hot point. It will come and pass, and people will pick a new thing to cry about...
My brother seems not to have touched on politics but stick to Finance matters. Not an easy task, all in all great interview as it elucidated the Finance Bill 2024 so that the common citizen can understand what is happening..👍🏾
Zile maquaters nilikulishwa kwa takliban miaka nne nikiwa highschool and I swear I don't want to see that starch anywhere near me
😂😂😂😂
I become allergic to bread till today
Siwezi itetea hiyo kitu liwe lisiwe
😂😂😂😂😂
but in comes to pension is which ever is lower (30% of gross , your contribution, 30,000)
But why are businesses being forced to pay tax every month before they do their annual returns and assess their earnings for the year against VAT?
Looks like this government doesn’t care if the business survives or not.
Madam who told you you are allowed to make sense in this country?😂😂
@@iamsyourdadi I'm just wondering
@@africanqueenmo Its because they would collapse without the money. When we question these things, we appear like the crazy ones.
Our system is flawed
@@iamsyourdadi shows that the business environment is hostile and risky for both local and external investors
UDA is KANU on steroids
Haki wasijaribu ku tax bread, vile tu nimeanza kula juzi?
Its 4.1T now from 3.9T
Increasing the threshold on VAT from 5m to 8m is not broadening the tax base!
11:01 😂😂😂I am imagining that i am a billionaire.
Professionals are the people who are messing up our beloved Kenya. The people who have prepared by budget are members of ESPAK... Bure kabisa... Those organization must hold errant members to account.
KANU wants everything and will NOT do anything for the Country.
3.9 Trillion is not something near 3.0T
When one claims pension after retirement it will be taxed!
Happy to see you my Brother Kamwara
Not informed in some tax issues
IMF should be blamed on more tax exposed
Did he just say change the law. . My God this government is from hell
I thought we were to tighten our belts????
Let them eat cake
lawyers should stick to understanding the law..hesabu inawashinda yoh
CT relax. Motor viehicle tax is global. Either now or later its already working
Can't this public participation be replaced by opinion polls..every stake holder to conduct their opinion poll...this public participation surely...ni kutuenjoy.
This one this not come to educate. Which tax principle prevent taxation of bread?
KANU wants everything
One really wonders, a repeat of the KANU regime.

Didn't the KANU regime make Pension funds campaign money?? So we are paying pensions to be eaten direct????😂😂 If we were Rwanda I'd be more secure with the government using Pension money for investments but this government doesn't inspire anything.
Si hata atleast wangeandika in that bible ati nyama choma ndiyo mwili wa yesu na beer ndiyo damu ya yesu
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Bibilia iliandikwa na vichwa maji tupu walevi na walafi juu hapo tusibishane

This guy knows his thing. I am pro government..but he is not just complaining
Tax collectors will always be hated, but the government must deliver to its citizens
and what exactly are they delivering if I may ask?
What do you mean by such a dumb arse statement like that?
I am trying to wrap my head around your statement...🤔
What was your objective?
Are you trying to say we shouldn't question how the taxpayers money is spent? We shouldn't make these people accountable for each penny collected?
What message did you intend to deliver with such a statement?
Did you fail your GCSEs?
What have these KLEPTOMANIACS delivered?
You truly are the epitome of a lack of critical thinking....
You lack empathy and sad to say, you suffer from from a paralysis of analysis!
Martin Luther King Jr. Once said, "the ultimate tragedy is not the oppression and cruelty by the bad people but the silence over that by the good people.”
This kind of person's aren't helpful to the common Kenyan. He doesn't have a layman's terms.
This guy is empty in substance...
