Jesus is fantastic technically truly, but he cant shoot to save his life its so annoying because he is truly a good footballer. Before his last injury he looked like he was finally firing and he just isnt the same now, id sell him for a decent offer we need killers as strikers clinical like trossard is.
I agree Rice was definitely the best player on the pitch. Saka again excellent but expected that. Understand why Havertz did that for the penalty, left a leg trailing and cannot blame him. Think our goal should have stood. Very very fair assessment. Refereeing in this league is poor as the referees are concerned of being undermined or rely on the VAR which hasnt proven its always right. All the very best for the rest of the season guys. Hope you win the league, will be willing you on against United and Everton.

I saw an interesting piece on that subject recently. Apparently having a drop in form is not at all uncommon for young players, half a season or even a whole season. That applies to football as much as hockey or basketball. More often than not these players come back out stronger than ever before. That's what I think will happen with Martinelli.

Come on James. Solanke did enough to ensure Raya didn’t get a clean punch on the ball. Infact Raya could have claimed that ball if it wasn’t for the push. Ref was right there and saw it. Right call all day.

Because the refs are so inconsistent it makes fans change their mind on fouls because that nudge on raya puts him off the punch and it's not given but next week it will be given then fans say they didn't give that last week or when Saka got a high voot on his leg close to the knee and it's a clear red but not given next week a players get stepped on ankle and it's given fans look at it like well Saka knee step wasn't a red why should this ankle one be a red. Refs are messing up the game on not being consistent.

Saka’s game isn’t ‘exciting’ so people act like he’s not playing well cause he isn’t just burning the full back all game. He retains the ball, works hard and produces in the final 3rd, let’s stop doing this
James you can’t nudge a keeper without challenging for the ball. Solanke’s eyes aren’t on the ball. Little contact yes, but when a keeper is in the middle action of jumping and gets a little touch he’s off balance. The moment Solanke took his eyes off the ball it’s a foul

Disagree with James. It was a clear foul on Raya IMO. Solanke nudged Raya and also grabbed his left arm momentarily right as he was about to punch it.
It was very soft. Raya have to do better. In another team this guy would have been in trouble. Not good enought. Lucky he have quality defenders to protect him.
@@arjanndoj4444 No he wouldn't lol. We literally have evidence of it. Brentford conceded only 3 more goals than us (46 compared to our 43) last season while conceding far more shots and Raya made the most saves in the league last season (50 more than Ramsdale lol).
The incident today was a clear foul IMO. Solanke grabbed Raya's left arm right as he was about to punch the ball. The ball would've ended further away or in a completely different direction had he not done that. You're talking about the defenders protecting Raya but he bailed out Gabriel in the first half after he underhit a pass lol. It goes both ways.
The difference between AFC and Man City is getting closer but City have the advantage of having won so many trophies and having been in this position numerous times they know how to cope and believe AFC are not there yet and nether are AFC supporters i think next season we will see the real deal.

Same thing applies to hockey and other team sports. I have no doubt that he will come back next season better than we've ever seen.

After the Villa loss, I thought the players would get so vexxed but after last season's hurt, in a controlled way and win the last 6, the only thing is I think CITY will do the same. The Havertz penalty was a penalty, albeit a fairly soft one. The keeper comes out and goes to ground too early, sells himself and commits a foul and THERE IS CONTACT when Havertz leaves his trailing leg out.
