So we were walking through the beauty supply store and ran across this line of products and a wild hair just got me... I HAD to try out these products and see if they were anything like what the bottles said they were. Just for me has been a staple in black haircare for years, but they are known for relaxers... could they possibly come out with a line I could stand behind for natural haired, tender headed babies? There was only one way for me to find out, so I purchased most of the line and decided to give them a shot, crossed my fingers, and THIS, is my honest review of the Just For Me Curl Peace line.

I do have a serious question. Since all these shut downs, social distancing, etc what can do at home to take care of our hair: coloring, cutting, relaxing,etc.? I’ve seen videos about cutting hair at home( for example) and not sure how to do it or should I wait until the salons/ hairstylist is available? I’m totally natural with very coiled hair( 4b,4c type I guess) I’m in my early 50s with grey hair using henna/indigo to color/ dye my hair black.

@@GetGlamFam I know, I'm 52 so we got perms early. I grew my perm out in my my 40's. I discovered I had a beautiful curl pattern. So sad because I never knew because I was so young when I got my first perm. My daughter wears her hair natural and if she wants it straight we get it silk pressed. I'm glad the younger generation embraces their natural curls. I love your channel because you are an expert in natural hair and you never tell Hair Guru fibs when comes to hair products! Every hair product that you have recommended has been a hit! Keep up the EXCELLENT work!!

You are so amazing with your daughter, reminds me of my dad. My dad is a farm boy turned oil field/18 wheeler driving man, but I loved it when he did my hair. The best slick back ponytails ever, and the straightest middle part for pigtails. We were always outside with him and he didn't want our hair getting in the way of us playing in the dirt or climbing all over his 18 wheeler.
He also painted our nails, he was really good at it too.
Definitely trying this for my 7yo granddaughter. She cries everytime she gets her hair combed. Thank you Linwood for another great video. Her hair is so cute!

Lol she was definitely feeling herself! We are working on teaching her how to handle her own hair, but it’s challenging because watching her snatch brushes and combs through her hair makes me wanna pass out! 😂
@@GetGlamFam 😌I had to re-learn how to comb my own hair. My mom didn't know how to train my hair. Now combing and styling my hair is a breeze. But Zan has the best teachers. I agree with your detangling methods. Wide tooth combs and the products work!😳

Okay my shampoo and conditioner arrived and I gave it a whirl today. I was nervous because I have been let down by so many products, so I wasn't in a hurry to use these at all. What was I waiting for! Oh, my goodness these products are everything. I have high porosity, color treated natural hair that's thin, fine 4c. My hair is very damaged even though I've had a thousand big chops. These products worked unbelievably well. No fairy knots, tangles, and no matting, yes my hair matted during wash time. It's the reason I drag my feet on wash day. This hasn't happened with no issues and tangles since I was a teenager. I was amazed. I called my mom and she was so happy for me. I'll be ordering the products for her in a couple of days. Thank you so much for sharing these products. I also purchased the other Shea moisturizing end repair and leave-in. I think using these before helped my hair and ends. I'm so pleased the brush I found at Target and it's the best that I used on my hair. I brushed from the ends an up and this has really helped. I did purchase the satin hat and this has made a big difference in my ability to retain moisture. Thank you.

OMG, I discovered this product line a couple of months ago! My 3-year-old has LONG super THICK hair and I was able to finger detangle her hair that had been out in two puffs for over a week and it only took me @ 1 hour to get that mass of hair detangled! I used an entire jar that first time. I ordered the pre-poo, shampoo, and conditioner! Love it!
In the process of doing her hair this week and I only needed half a jar and it only took me about 45 minutes.
I need them to consider making the pre-poo in a larger size, I could easily see how you could go through a large amount of it. 😊
GlamFam I need them to do a gallon tub!!! My daughter has gorgeous hair but it’s so disrespectful during the 3 day wash day process!
I received these products in a CurlBox subscription about a year ago and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE them. They also have a shea butter that is great. I totally agree with your description of all the products.
I have been using this product for a while. I absolutely love the shea butter and the detangler. Do you recommend any other shampoos and conditioners for little ones? I have a 2 year old and a 9 year old.

Love her hair. That Pre-Poo reminds me of the one I use from African Pride. It gives that same wet slip for detangling. It's a Godsend on my 4C natural hair.

i was just about to ask if the two were comparable.
I've used that product before and it has sooo much slip, but I end up with flakes in my hair that finally come out after 2-3 wash days. Have you experienced flakes with the product?
@@8701jb I had no problems with the African Pride Pre-Poo since I only used it to detangle my hair before I washed it. The product didn't stay on my hair for longer than a few hours at most. I haven't tried the product featured by Lindwood in this video. However, I am sorry to hear you had that experience.

I LOVE the grip cream on my almost 2 year old! Her hair is very fine and soft but her shrinkage is REAL! It hold her hair for 2 weeks!
I tried it on fine hair while braiding today and it did an exceptional job! Good stuff!

WoW!!!!😳 This is Just For Me products? I wrote them off 20 years ago after using their kiddie perm in my daughter's hair. She had very long, thick 4A/B hair. It wasn't course, just extremely thick hair. I thought it was just going to be something light. Nope, her hair came out bone straight and eventually started coming out. It took a while, but I finally got her hair back healthy, just never as long as before. I vowed I would NEVER use their products again. But wait now, I think someone has redeemed themselves!!!! These products look amazing. And I trust you Linwood. If it was trash, you would've said so immediately and you wouldn't have used it in your baby's hair. I have always had a large amount of children in my clientele because of having a gentler hand than most. 2) I FINALLY tried that Giovanni shampoo, conditioner and mask that you always recommend. It's hard to find. I found it at the organic store of all places. It made my 4b hair amazingly soft 😲. Never got through a wash day so fast in my life.
3) would you recommend that tender headed detangler for adults? My hair is fort Knox when I remove my crochets. And it looks like it would help.
