He made to the finals and he was the 1st magician on BGT to make it that far. As for exploiting his brother who passed, he did it in memory of him and the hand holding of 2 brothers it started out as a joke when they were kids.
Oh by the way he was invited back to BGTs champion show later. So please di us all a favor and crawl back into mommy and daddys basement and stfu.

I don't know how many times I've wwatched the shortened version of it which allows no comments. I did that because I wanted to see two grown brothers holding hands who I felt were doing it for no immmoral reason--just brotherly love and I believe I found it in this video! I at least kind of wish I Iwould've been the 3rd brother of them so he and I could still be walking streets holding hands. Are those his wo sons that were working with him? I asked him that on facebook Darcy. I guess I'm kind of jealous of you two.

I think this really shows that he has found himself as a magician. In 2014 he did completely different things each act, from creating birds out of thin air, to teleportation, to being an escape artist. I don’t think something this personal is something you can decide to do on a whim. It takes a long time to come to terms with it and then decide to make it public. Massive respect for Darcy Oake. My condolences.

I love Darcy, must say, he's playing it really safe in the bgt champions really hope it works in his favor...
Safe?? In the context that he's not risking his life (which by the way all those stunts are usually FAKE). This is probably the biggest risk I've seen any magician make, he could have loaded all his "tricks" into his act but instead he stripped it all back, open up, show his vulnerability and told a story that is very important to him which made this act magical in the realest possible way.
Are you DEAF? Did you NOT hear Darcy's explanation of this stripped down act? This was MORE of a tribute to his brother/bestfriend than a magic act and felt that this was the RIGHT time and stage to show to the world his BEST FRIEND.
