Tough game. The center of the field became very weak as Pelova was substituted off. She is very important player, most likely because of her absence the Netherlands lost the match against Germany for the Olympic Games.
100% agree.. it was very confusing why Arsenal made sooo many changes as Tottenham started to get back into the game with their changes but I've to say Arsenal showed their World Class by dominated most of the game even though Kate McCabe wanted to foul Rebecca Spencer 😂

Pelova became worldclass at Arsenal... She missed our game against GER and that was a huge blow... But i agree, that an Arsenal without Pelova should not be affected that much as the Dutch national team.
that's why Pelova must be stater over Miedema, Miedema has just not sense since there's striker profiles (Russo and Blackstenius) that understand better what Foord, Mccabe, Mead and midfield needs from the striker

@@redblueblack4211Nowadays too many players, both women and men, are rated based on media hype. If you're a media darling, you get all the accolades and awards... if you're not, you get nothing. Pelova is massively underrated, while a player like Caicedo (Colombia and Real Madrid), for example, is massively overrated.

Was at this game today it was amazing. Tottenham defence were extremely strong, and just pinned Russo/Mead every chance. But thankfully we got that break away in the second half where Russo was open. You can't see from the highlights how much Foord dominated today and opened up so many chances in the first half as well. Really solid game all round. 🔥

This is a better win for us despite the narrow margin ...the players struggled a lot physically the whole game but managed to produce one moment of quality to break the deadlock.

It's a travesty that Kara Cooney-Cross sits on the bench and Foord continues to get minutes. I realize they don't play the same position, but they can make it work.

Great crowd, but I don't get why most media outlets felt the need to emphasise the game was a sell-out. If it was, a lot of people with tickets just didn't bother to show up.
Whoever made these highlights needs to relax with the chop and changes. Give the highlights a few more seconds before the lead up to a highlight.

Even in packed stadium, the girls still act cautiously to celebrate the goal with fans. I'd like to see more player in WSL to easily enjoy celebrating goal with fans like Chloe Lacasse did last week.

not the best game today. I was really pleased with the way that spurs have come on in leaps and bounds open the last few seasons as it's great for the women's game.
I'm a great fan of Leah Williamson, and today, in her short time on the field, she was perfect, only the one bad pass.
With no disrespect to the ladies who actually played for England in the World Cup I feel sure that with the availability of Williamson and Mead In particular, the outcome of the final would have been quite different

The race of The WSL title is between Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal and that's the top3 for next season Uefa Champions League since Manchester United dropped more points when they drew with Westham Utd 😢

Agreed. Not sure why he was given a new contract. How this team isn't comfortably sitting at the top of the table esp with no champions League is beyond me. He is clueless and it's just the talent of these women that have gotten us this far...
I mean have you seen Leicester lately, those girls are flying and they don't have many of the so called big players, but you can clearly see that they are well coached and they are given clear instructions on how they should go about matches. I'm sure if their coach was with Arsenal they'll be sitting comfortably at the top.
