- Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are sending Princess Kate Middleton their support after her bombshell health update. The Princess of Wales, 42, announced her cancer diagnosis in a video message released by Kensington Palace on March 22, in which Kate confirmed that she has begun preventative chemotherapy. Meghan and Harry were among the first royals to issue public comment on the reveal, saying in a statement obtained by Access Hollywood, "We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace." King Charles, who is also undergoing cancer treatment, also offered kind words for the mom of three, saying in a statement via Buckingham Palace that he is "so proud" of his daughter-in-law for "her courage in speaking as she did." Kate's news comes weeks after she underwent what the palace called "a planned abdominal surgery" in January that required a nearly two-week hospital stay. The mom of three has refrained from public duties since and was previously announced to be recovering at home until at least Easter.

H and M's message was a very poor attempt at showing their support for Catherine and this shocking news. To be fair, they would be damned if they did and damned if they didn't after the wrecking balls they've heaved at the BRF over the past few years, but since they chose to make a statement, I guess it was the best we could expect from this pair. It was minimal, unfeeling and something you might send to a stranger, which I guess makes sense given the current state of their familial relationships.
