Tallon really is the game's main character, and the brilliant ost made it be so

Metriod & donkey kong are my go to music when life gets hard
And a mix of Zelda too for the really really hard days

Metroid has always this strong ambient-style in his music. You feel the space, the loneliness on an alien planet.

@@UmbreonMoonlight Sadly yes. Everybody keeps praising it, but in terms of music and atmosphere (which is why I love metroid), it was one of the worst. Gameplay was dope though.
@DonCurrywurst dread was amazing story gameplay the music that was in it like the lowerbrinstar remix was amazing we needed more of that it's like breath of the wild fun gameplay horrible atmosphere and music and it wasn't for Me but dread I can Still enjoy a playthough

@@UmbreonMoonlight i really liked Dread but the 2 things i nit pick are the music and the game also needed more slow paced exploration. It's just go go go from beginning to end.
Every day I play metroid prime remaster and when I take break I listen to this, than spend the rest of the day playing. One with the Metroid.

I know exactly what you mean. You spend so much time immersed in the game world and you don't want it to end even when you put the controller down so you come jam to some of the killer music. I haven't played the remaster yet but I've experienced this with so many other games.

I used to play Metroid since Metroid II on Gameboy and Metroid is one of my favorite Nintendo serie after Zelda. I really like this compilation, every night before sleeping I'm listening to it.

Super Metroid was the greatest game in that generation of games hands down. That first play through was just magical.

This is such a top-tier playlist! Fusion holds such a special place in my heart. It was genuinely the first game to frighten me! Seeing how SA-X would systematically bottleneck elevators and tunnels to isolate you throughout the game while you're unravelling the federation's illicit metroid research program was so cool (good thing "Adam" did the right thing there!). Admittedly, I didn't have a Game Cube growing up, but with handheld emulators being what they are, I am determined to play though all the 3D classics (Although I did enjoy the heck out of Prime Hunters for DS!). Thank you for this trip down memory lane- such a great series.
It's crazy how much people like this but yea metroid in general holds a special place in my heart I love the atmosphere the gsmeplay the story everything is just so perfect
I still love Fusion's Nightmare more than Other M's, mostly because of the ever-more grotesque faces it goes through as you pummel its face with missiles or charged beams
I have to agree! As a kid I hadn't been made aware of the dreary atmosphere Metroid, as a series was trying to establish- (I started with Zero Mission for GBA which felt quite lighthearted compared to Fusion). As I got more into the series I definitely felt the ongoing theme of being a sole bounty hunter in an infinite cosmos constantly being pushed by new enemies and hoping not to run into Ridley!
Also, I found Nightmare to be an AMAZING enemy for dropping the Gravity Suit! He was sooo cool, but yeah terrifying to look at as we melted his face :p (His swoops were so painful to dodge >.
Been listening to this at work.... so good. Playing Metroid Prime Remastered make me a special kind of happy. Just as it did when I played through it more than 20 years ago. The remaster is so incredible I can't even find the proper words to describe it. One of the few games I get that "feeling" from when I play it. Last time I got that was playing Hollow Knight 5 or so years ago.
That makes me happy knowing that you guys can work better by my Playlist might make a channel for metriod themes lol

Y'all are failing to recognize We ARE SAMUS experiencing her backstory through the atmosphere, her and it are entwined.
If we were playing as a space pirate in the same setting the music and expierences would all be very different; I doubt they care to listen to this Chozo Atmospheric mix ( which is really good btw, no doubt).

I'm a teacher at a highschool, and this has to be my most played mix. The kids seem to enjoy it as background noise when they are doing work and I just vibe at the desk while I go over how to solve math XD. Keep up the good work mate

Metroid was the first game I played for Gameboy. My friend Eric ( the weird kid in class) forced me to play it on the bus in 3rd grade. Needless to say it changed my life. Eric died my senior year in highschool, but I'll never forget him and I wish he could see this now. You will be alone sometimes in this life but if you learn what tools you need, you can overcome any obstacle. What a great vibe.

Same but my friend Eric was a gaming hero. He conquered the Seas riding a boat with a dragon face in the front. He also liked to search for treasure using a magnetic connector that he pulled boxes out from the deep of ocean. He once visited Metroid too. And he told the Metroids that all youtube comments are bullshit and probably fake to get attention. And if not why would you still post those comments for any other reason?

@@_YESIMHIGH Definitely. Prime is perfect. As for the GameBoy game, you're better off trying one of the remakes for it such as "Samus Returns" or "AM2R."
The Flower Boss In This Game Is Crazy Hard, Took Me Forever To Beat 👍🏻
When I first played yes that boss was a nightmare now I can beat it in about 2m or so
same when I was a kid it was on the harder side because she resets the solar panels faster and faster so the last stage took me forever. Replaying recently it wasn't as bad. Clearly a skill issue@@UmbreonMoonlight
