Chris is honestly the worst kid in the history of any apocalypse series. Thank god Lisa (the mother) died before witnessing the distraught behavior he would made. He isn’t troubled, he just wanted attention. Travis is doing his best but the marriage just can’t be saved.
This group is chaotic. Everyone made unpredictable decisions without discussing with anyone. Alicia’s the nicest and purest but she’s just way too trusting. Daniel’s the bull of the group but is just predominant. Strand has survivor skill but isn’t a team player. I can understand why Nick left.
Alicia is so stunning in the earlier seasons. Her hair in the apocalypse is unrealistic but i ain’t complaining.
Should have change the show to "Fear the walking idiots"

This 1st season, much like the first walking dead season, was excellent. Fleshed out characters, a story focused tightly at their terror in the first days of the apocalypse, and tangible threats in the zombies. Great performances all round, I strongly recommend it. (the second season flounders a bit)
Madison was so fucking unlikable...killing Travis AT THE END OF SECOND 2 was one of the dumbest things they could've done. He had just become a decent character. I understand they probably did it to show us how unpredictable death is in the apocalypse, but come on. Chris was even worse, especially in the second season...

Nick solidifying himself as some zombie whisperer savant with no sort of struggle of his own; Chris going anarchy-mode; Madison being morally ambiguous; They seemed to be unable to carve any likeable traits out of Travis' character so they just killed him off.
I stopped following it prior to the end of the zombie farm arc, which is ironically very similar to where I lost interest in the first walking dead (right at the end of season 2 when they bounced from Hershel's place)

In the early parts of the season, he didn't realize how weird his son, Chris, was because Chris acted normally around him. Madison tried to warn him, but he didn't recognize it until he saw Chris react to the apocalypse. Even then, he took personal accountability and chose to isolate himself and Chris from the group. That's noble. The man he brutally killed was a psycho from the group that killed his only son. How would you have handled it???

i work in a hospital. the other night a worker told me someone was lying down on the floor outside the elevator outside the unit. i went to check it out. a woman was on her knees and her face was down in a plate of food. she looked up when i asked her if she was ok. and she told me what unit she was from. as i did a quick assessment i noticed her ear was completely gone. i went to the unit she said she was in and the nurses came out to get her. she once again face down in the food, not using her arms or hands to eat. seriously, that was so close to any hospital zombie scene. but it was real. and she was not a zombie, just very very confused. crazy stuff.

They Never Make good Zombie Outbreak Series Like this anymore 😢
The entire first season should have been the slow slow realization that the government can’t hide it anymore. Like the kid should have stayed in the hospital for a few episodes and while he’s there he hears about something happening downstairs. He being a stereotypical horror actor goes downstairs and finds quarantined corpses, a bag moves and he freaks out and leaves. No one believes him given the circumstances and that leads to his insanity. That’s barebones but still

@@jasonm949 haven’t watched that one, but if it wasn’t for madison, these guys would be sitting pretty in the first few weeks. Just absolute anchors for a group in this situation.
And yet she survived until the end of the show. Literally, only Madison, Alicia and Daniel were still alive of everyone in the first season when the show ended.

When it comes to The Walking Dead Kirkman has said that in his universe Romero's original zombie movies do not exist. So the concept of zombies was never popularized as much, this is also the reason for why they rarely even use the word "zombie".

This show started good but then chose to focus on emotions and family drama. We want zombies and to see the World collapsing; not a snotty kid who trys to get everyone killed.

Travis getting killed off was this shows second worst mistake. He was literally just turning into murder jacket rick. The biggest mistake is bringing in new showrunners after season 3 and turning the whole show upside down.

15min in n the script has had me pissing myself laughing the entire time. Legit had to take a breather. "shot the zombie dead as sh*t" "peace in hell" "smelling thing" (NOSE, it's called a NOSE) "chicken body"....it just doesn't stop. BEST no English speaker translation to English script EVER, & WAY better than watching this in it's original form. 100% serious not sarcastic, & sure as sh*t not a bot like at least HALF these comments. REAL person "afraid of peeing herself" (all that in just 1st 15min, 1hr 15 to go 1 breather & wee run down).
These people are not very bright in decision making even under stress. they are always splitting up, trusting and helping strangers etc... was very hard to watch.

You guys remember when during peak the walking dead they announced fear as a spin off that would be all about a long detailed look at the outbreak seeming twd starts post outbreak and then after only a few episodes they are like "lol nah we lied time for a timeskip and for it to just be another series of following a group around long into the outbreak"
Fear is what started the end of my love for the walking dead. With the main series being at it's peak and them giving us a view on the actual outbreak it was perfect but then they just ruined everything. Seriously in events that could of span an entire season or even 2 seasons at like episode 3 of season 1 the outbreak starts in full swing then 5 minutes later of a car ride through town it's over. Now we are just in a military protected area. I get triggered enough when movies rush the outbreak scene but can accept it because of time constraints, but for a tv series which advertised it's self as the sole purpose to be to detail the outbreak for them to just skip everything to try and make it a walking dead clone with different survivors.... Will never forgive that
