Dazu kommt, dass er ein wunderbarer, warmherziger Mensch ist. Leider habe ich ihn zum ersten Mal 2023 durch meinen todkranken Onkel wahrgenommen. Ich habe da wohl eine Menge verpasst. Das lag einfach daran, dass er in der DDR nicht oder kaum gespielt wurde. 😢 Vielleicht gibt er ja in Deutschland nochmal ein Konzert, denn ich würde ihn gern live erleben und für den Gefallen danken, den er meinem Onkel auf dem Sterbebett getan hat. Ich wünsche Peter alles Glück und alle Liebe dieser Erde. ❤❤

Holy smokes! And THAT folks is how its done! There's nothing I like more than to hear a band, like this one, who is able to beautifully recreate a live performance of their biggest hits with the same level of care and quality (or even better than) the original studio recording. That' very hard to do and they nailed it. I've seen other bands like Tears for Fears pull off similar feats of perfect musicianship on stage with faithful recreations of their studio hits. It's a real treat because so many bands choose to dumb down their songs while playing live, take too many goofy liberties, and just don't put in the effort like this band does to really give it their all. Which is a shame. What those bands don't realizes is some in the audience have listened to and loved their songs by playing them 1000's of times. Yet, when they hear them live, its often a messy, blurry shadow of the original studio perfect recording, and thus a disappointment to listen to. My advice to other bands is, unless you are a professional Jazz band who can artistically improvise with skill and precision, or unless you are of the level of musical skill like the 3 members of the police, or Pink Floyd, etc, then stay away from riffing on stage with your well known tunes. Give the fans what they want and reproduce the studio music as faithfully live as you possibly can and give it 100% effort.
Very true. I saw Del Amitri live in Nottingham and they were crap. On the other end of the spectrum, Jools Holland, Dina Carroll and Alison Moyet were a sheer joy to listen to every time and performed just as good live, if not better.

There's nothing I like more than to hear a band, like this one, who is able to beautifully recreate a live performance of their biggest hits with the same level of care and quality (or even better than) the original studio recording. That' very hard to do and they nailed it. I've seen other bands like Tears for Fears pull off similar feats of perfect musicianship on stage with faithful recreations of their studio hits. It's a real treat because so many bands choose to dumb down their songs while playing live, take too many goofy liberties, and just don't put in the effort like this band does to really give it their all. Which is a shame. What those bands don't realizes is some in the audience have listened to and loved their songs by playing them 1000's of times. Yet, when they hear them live, its often a messy, blurry shadow of the original studio perfect recording, and thus a disappointment to listen to.
My advice to other bands is, unless you are a professional Jazz band who can artistically improvise with skill and precision, or unless you are of the level of musical skill like the 3 members of the police, or Pink Floyd, etc, then stay away from riffing on stage with your well known tunes. Give the fans what they want and reproduce the studio music as faithfully live as you possibly can and give it 100% effort.

Very true. I saw Del Amitri live in Nottingham and they were crap. On the other end of the spectrum, Jools Holland, Dina Carroll and Alison Moyet were a sheer joy to listen to every time and performed just as good live, if not better.
